Spencer Dinwiddie averaged 20.6 points and 7 assists per game this season... should nba teams target his Bit coin idea to sign him?

No, he’s good but he won’t average 20 if he plays for a contender. He’s averaging 20 because he’s the 1st option since KD and Kyrie are injured.

One thing about his shot when he pulls up off a 1-2 that is very subtle but I think very important. When he goes right, he points his lead foot (his left foot) inwards towards the hoop as he sets it down. When he goes left, he sets his lead foot (his right foot) down in the same direction he is moving - pointed left. Either way, he turns to get his shooting arm (shoulder to elbow) lined up with the hoop before he lets his shot go. No good shooter shoots with a chicken wing elbow. The point is, a right handed shooter has to turn more to get his elbow pointed towards the hoop when going right. Turning your lead foot inwards as you set it down facilitates that and prevents him from having to turn excessively as he rises up off the floor. Sometimes he shoots off a jump stop, other times off a 1-2. He also does a lot of step backs. Whatever shot he takes, he turns his feet towards the hoop as he sets them down going right, but doesn't do that going left. In my opinion from over 50 years of watching and playing this game, most right handed shooters are better going left than going right - and vice versa for lefties. I think it's because it is natural to set your feet in the same direction you are moving. If players did this subtle trick, right handed shooters would be just as good if not better at going right and vice versa for lefties. There are advantages to going to your strong side - namely the defender has further to go to get to the ball because he has to come across your body.

Great tips! Another technique righty shooters can do on the 1-2 going right is to swing the right leg forward. This helps rotate the body to be square towards the basket. I think the reason over-rotation is necessary on the 1-2 driving right is due to where the shooting hand is relative to the pivot foot. When driving left, the shooter rotates on the right foot, therefore the shooting hand is more naturally in-line with the pivot foot. So it's much easier to square up accurately. Whereas, when driving right, the shooting hand and the pivot/plant foot are opposites. The right shooting hand must rotate all the way across the body to square up. Hence, why using over-rotation techniques (like swinging the right leg forward) is necessary to shoot accurately.

The man is working hard. I think this workout is designed to train mentally as much as physically. He is taking some tough shots when he is tired from way beyond the arch and they are tough to make. I can see him get frustrated on a couple occasions. I think those shots are tougher than the shots he will normally take in a game - with the idea if he can stay in good form on those shots, game shots will be easy. I may be wrong but that is what I think he is doing. I think a couple things start to break down under these conditions and he does a great job fighting it. First I think there is a tendency to jump forward rather than stay in your spot and go straight up. For me, my shot becomes a line drive brick when I jump forward. I have to dig down deep to get my butt down and go straight up. Second, my elbow starts to stick out when I get tired, I think because I subconsciously want to throw the ball to get it above the rim. I have to make an extra effort to keep my elbow tucked in, stay home in my spot, and feel the vertical lift from my jump to get the ball high above the rim. Especially from long distance because you really need that lift from your legs to stay in form.

I like the longer 3s because he can't get sloppy and his form is better. Shooting off the dribble is harder because you have to set your feet and control the timing of the shot to have form and focus on the back inside edge of the rim. Switching from dribbling to the rim is extra work.

Man he is good but the moment those 2 superstars come his average 21 pts. Drop to 13 to 15 pts. As he will get less touches the moment Kyrie and KD comes back. For now he is good there. He will be good for another team because Kyrie hugs to ball so much. Like the Bucks, Philly...he is a good player but with Kyrie he never play well other teammates.
