Kyle Shanahan loves Spencer Rattler. No way Rattler goes outside of the second round. To the right team/coach, Rattler could put up All-Pro numbers. To the wrong team/coach...Rattler will be just another very talented QB that will never get to showcase his elite talent. I've watched Rattler since HS, and even back then, Spencer has always thrown the best/effortless ball that I've ever seen...at any level.

Yeah that’s the same way I view it as well. Tackle just depends on how they feel about Thayer Munford, but the value at Tackle makes tons of sense. Also could see a Newton or Murphy available. Love that as well especially since they could use someone dominant on that interior still.

@@GSLINGFOOTBALL watching your video, mainly shows that he could be a great QB with good coaching and development. I recently read that almost all the entire OL for the SC was injured. Gotta add that to the scouting as well and he still made great plays. Being a pats fan, I agree with fissey, add a blue chip talent in MHJ, take rattler and coach him up, take what the defense gives you, stay patient and go through the progressions and the big plays will come.
@GSLINGFOOTBALL
@GSLINGFOOTBALL 4 ай бұрын
@masterful7346 yeah to be fair, sometimes I did feel Rattler could if anticipated much better and gotten the ball out quick at times; however, that was a huge issue all season long, inconsistent, bad OL play, so going to an NFL, he could actually have better protection than what he was accustomed to at SC.

either him or nix for my broncos. If we wait for rattler I hope we can get one of the top edge rushers at 12 or trade down a bit and still grab a solid defender and get a second or third round pick as well. I was wanting nix this whole time but since were not really in a win now mode, I don't mind rolling the dice with rattler and getting great value at 12 or like I said trade down for more picks

I actually think Rattler would be a great fit in Sean’s offense. Rattler is great short to middle of the field, and I think Sean can get him to limit the mistakes. I completely agree tho with you. I’d also consider Bowers if he fell offensively wise.

Seahawks in the 3rd baby. Good weapons, solid Oline core. Just need a coach 😂. I've seen him, much like Penix, underthrown A LOT of deep balls. Especially for having the arm talent they both have. Obviously Penix is the cream of the crop in that particular category.
@GSLINGFOOTBALL
@GSLINGFOOTBALL 4 ай бұрын
I like that a lot! That would be a perfect spot for him to take over for Geno after a season. Yeah I noticed some of the deep ball inaccuracies with Rattler, but for the most part I thought he was pretty accurate. He’s really accurate short and mid areas of the field.

He’s been better at SC, no doubt about it, so some team probably will take the shot in Round 3 on him. I think he’s got to sit though like a Jordan Love and get rid of some deeply engrained gameplay tendencies. It will hamper his development if he ever has to go in and play right away like say Desmond Ridder.

He really was good throughout the season, so it is surprising that he’s not at least mentioned with that group. People are sleeping on him. Mark my words, he’ll be better than all except Daniels and Maye. Williams can be great but only if he changes his mentality and disciplines himself. Bears should take a hail from Wash to go to #2, then take another hail from AZ so they can take MHJ and go to #4. Trade Fields for another 2nd round pick. Take Nabers at 4 and the the best player at every needed position and then take Spencer in the second or maybe even third round. Get the fresh start at QB while building an all pro lineup that wins for 10-15 years.
@GSLINGFOOTBALL
@GSLINGFOOTBALL 4 ай бұрын
I will say that's a very interesting take. I don't think your wrong or nothing, but just think it's very unlikely they would do that/other teams trading up like that can be hard. What the Bears were able to do last season was amazing and if they wanna keep Fields, they could get a nice return for trading the 1 pick, so we shall see how it all plays, but I like Rattler quite a bit as well.
@Joeypots
@Joeypots 4 ай бұрын
@@GSLINGFOOTBALL I agree with you 100%. It’s a huge leap. But with nothing hit time to think until draft day, it’s interesting to look at all things possible. Just my personal option but I just hope they don’t pass up on the haul and draft Williams. Even if he is better, throwing him in the same position isn’t going to help. No offense to him but he couldn’t even step up against college winning programs. Fields is proven. Build a roster that can win for a decade. And worse case scenario if Fields truly fails, you’ll have a couple first rounder next year. Sanders is more impressive than Williams to me.
@GSLINGFOOTBALL
@GSLINGFOOTBALL 3 ай бұрын
@Joeypots yeah that’s the big decision Ryan Poles has to make this off-season. Also I imagine it’ll depend also on what kinda haul he can get/how far he wants to move down. If he wants MHJ, he probably could only move down to 3 at furthest, so the compensation wouldn’t be as huge. Lot’s of options, but ultimately the Bears are in a great position to set themselves up big time!!
