Today we challenge the Idea that you need anything to start. I'm 1,000 miles away from home and we try and land a window cleaning/roof cleaning job door to door.
*Forgot to include but Kyle ended up upselling windows, gutters AND solar panel cleaning for $550 total*

Here is another idea. 1. Fly DJI drone over the whole street. 2. identify the dirty gutter 3. take photos and bluetooth it to phone. 4. do the sales picth real time photo

usually i just tell them that im going around cleaning windows and gutters for a really cheap price, short and simple and 50% of them say yes

Ended up getting solar and some windows up sales. The total ended up being $550 and took about an hour and a half to do. Pretty solid for less than 4 hours work!

confidence and cutting out "like" and "um" will give ppl the confidence in you and your service. From what I see youre a 6 figure entrepreneur on your way easily to 7 figures, let that confidence show through everything you do.

Honestly it’s mostly just about getting out there and starting. My first day I did $600 in a half day. Once you get out on the doors you will start learning and getting better!

It’s a multi-position ladder. That ones made by Gorilla. Little Giant is good too. They’re not using a stabilizer but you definitely should.

when you knock on doors should you knock on every single door in the whole neighborhood or just on the houses that visibility have dirty roofs/gutters? I have been only knocking on visibly dirty houses. It's pretty dry in Texas rn, out of 50 houses I'd say only 10 of them actually need cleaning. Therefore I'm not getting enough sales leads. So far I've reached 34 people but have only landed 2 jobs. Should I switch up my strategy and start knocking on every single door?

It's all numbers game, be sure to knock as many doors as you can. 2/3 jobs out of ever 50 doors is the average. You could offer other services like window cleaning etc. When they say no to gutters then say yeah that's no problem, I also do window cleaning and that you'd be happy to do a discount as your in the area. Get a DI vessel and a 30ft water fed pole. It will make cleaning so easy and you can use their own tap water. Get a clip board and a pen as you will come off as more professional and will begin to get more sales

When you price window cleaning jobs, is $10 for both in an out for windows or just outside? Would I charge something like 15 for both in and out? Thanks dad

Usually when you get started you should charge per pane and do the same price no matter how big or small the window is, it’ll all even out.

Good effort but LOL that was a horrible sales pitch. To make sales you have to show the customer value and immediate need. Just winging it… “Hi my name is Spencer, I’m with KZfaq Pros Gutter and Roof Cleaning Service. We’re doing some work in the neighborhood cleaning gutters and we make it a habit to offer a free gutter inspection to other homeowners in the neighborhood while we’re already here. This free inspection will identify if you have any debris blocking your gutters from draining properly. Gutters that don’t drain properly can lead to extensive water leaks and black mold inside your home, as well as very costly repairs. We recommend annual cleaning but a quick annual inspection at bare minimum to ensure your gutters aren’t blocked. We’re happy to perform this free inspection right now and show you pictures if we find debris blocking your gutters. We’re also running a new customer special offer if you decide you want your gutters cleaned out after the free inspection. Do you know when you last had your gutters inspected and cleaned, or would you like me to grab my ladder from my truck and we’ll check them real quick for you?” Also, never approach a customer without business card, flyers, a door hanger, or your company shirt. Just having something professional for them to look at puts their mind at ease when a random stranger approaches them.
