Firstly you are the cutest person ever Everything you said is 100% valid especially sorting-it's hard for GOMs to get all the members when some companies don't shuffle and you get multiple dupes of so called unpopular members(i hate member pricing for that reason,there should be no "unpopular members",all members should be given the same love) I think alot of the entitlement comes from that-some people wrongly think GOMs magically get all members equally and they wave a magic wand...that doesn't happen... GOMs are doing this for FREE they get no rewards from companies,they do it because they love the group/s and want everyone to experience a come back. As you said if you want to guarantee you get a certain member set sign up to Neokyo and go crazy there..simple.

Thank you for taking the time to take us through the distribution & shipping process of some of your orders. I knew it was tedious, but goodness gracious, it's a LOT 😅 I love the way you explained everything when you were addressing some of the issues that may happen with a GO. It sounds reasonable & fair to me. You also seem to be very organized. I've never joined a GO for official albums or merch, but I would def look for you if I ever don't want to order any merch alone in the future 😊 TY & I'll save my side eye for other things 🙏🏾😆

I am a big gom myself but i only do photocard go's and sometimes packaging 130+ orders is just soo much but seeing those big orders / packages at your home...wow respect really. I couldn't do it

as a gom myself thank you for that last part 🙏 dealing with a ghost now and adding late fees but the domestic shipping is about to be more than initial and I’m like well 🤷‍♀️ sorry you should have paid or communicated

a bit of a ramble on the topic of GOM deadlines: absolutely agree. im very lucky to be in positions where GOMs have understood that the deadline is right before a payday, and i always ask beforehand if its okay to have extensions wherever needed. GOMs are people, and if im a part of multiple GOs i usually ask to ship it all at once but only if the GOM was okay with it and if it wasnt taking too much space in their house/apartment. i think some joiners forget that GOMs are people too and they have lives outside of their GOs that can affect how everything goes. but they also forget that theres a deadline for a reason. to those who treat GOMs badly and treat them as a bank and a warehouse, i hope you step in water with your socks on. and to those who treat GOMs with respect for their time and energy to host, i love you. keep it up!

i would love a notion tour if you can! i'm a newer gom and just started using notion to keep track of my gos and while i just do singular gos that don't need to be consolidated, i would love to have a video to go off of just in case i did (plus your notion is so pretty omg)

Omg Shy thanks for the last part!!! People are so entitled these days and think they are special and should have priority in anything. I've been doing GOs for BTS for almost 8 years now and the amount of stuff I had to deal with especially coming from popular members utteds still gives me nightmares. That's why I chose peace and reduced my GOs from 300 to permanent 60 members, that most of them I know personally and all ot7 so they wouldn't bother me if another member came in their order, even if they only collect 1 or 2

everything you said at the end is true! ofc most people know of bad stories or experiences with GOMs - i once had a GOM wait so long to ship a kaddy box that they literally ended up throwing packages away, one of those having the single item i had bought 💀 - but like... i feel like most of them are good and organized! and its crazy how entitled they are like when nobody forced them to join the GO. and its crazy how many people join and then dont pay the items like im sorry but dont join if you dont have the money or aren't completely sure whether you want the item or not. they would save themselves so much trouble if they just took a step back and thought longer about whether they want to invest in merch or not. also the member claim situation is insane!! luckily it seems like for atiny's its better, but im a moa and its like people almost fight to death for the oldest members and get offended if you give them taehyun or kai. you start to notice who actually likes the group as a whole and those who are "fans" because their bias is in it...

Let me start this by saying I've seen a few people say that you can order boxes for free off USPS and/or UPS and they deliver it, definitely double check into it in case they have a condition like you've to ship with only them Honestly it's crazy how much you have to do for a GO 😨 I just want to say that you have a right to express how you're feeling and fuck the people that are causing you issues and then getting offended, I think you should charge like $5 for packaging fees and if people don't want that they can go somewhere else. I haven't joined a g.o. in a few years but I remember them saying the member isn't guaranteed and you had to make a list from most wanted to least wanted. I'm honestly so shocked that people hate a member, in a group they stan like wtaf? I love every member of every group I stan and am always happy with pulls. I bought 14 signed Seventeen albums for myself and pulled 6/13 members, I pulled 3 extra Vernon, 3 extra Wonwoo and 3 extra Dino and that was just for myself, so dupes are bound to happen, the stores can't see who you'll pull etc unless it's stated. Man people like that really ruin it for others 😭 I'd say just block them and blacklist them from joining in the future and keep a tab of their name incase they open a new account.

Also, 2 of the pages came in damaged and almost every group postcard was damaged and it literally wasn't my fault so I can only imagine how hard it is as a g.o.m. to do that having to communicate with the store etc Oh and the pcs were crazy dupes and on the back of all my mingyu pcs from one album their was like a dot of colour/piece of the pc missing

and this is why we don't lie to people because she hella put you on the spot. Actually dying from that part, that was so funny and the weather over there seems crazy. I thought you had double windows or something on your car. Thanks for the insight and perspective of running GOMs, I didn't think they were that..intense? and I feel sorry for anyone who deals with super entitled people like that who say nothing at all for months..doesn't make sense.

Absolutely loved the video! You’re so fun to watch! Especially enjoyed the Etsy story and the way you pretended that the video was over lol. I usually play you in the background as I’m doing something, it keeps me motivated to keep working! Also being a GOM is so hard!! I’ve never been one but people give GOMS such a hard time over things they can’t even control. Like you said people feel like they can be the exception, that they’re special and everything should go how they want when that’s not how life works babes!

Although I agree with your points you addressed in your recap (all of them were fair and valid), I have experienced first hand unfair sorting in a GO, where the gom prioritised their moots and repeat joiners over equally distributing pulls based on ppl's priority list instead. However, I and many other of their joiners, who had a separate group chat and shared our pulls and prioritise, we ended up trading) didn't complain and I just put my money where my mouth was and didn't join a go of theirs ever again. I'd rather buy stuff for more money directly and randomly pull, then support someone and their group of 'friends' get their priorities. You seem like such an excellent gom Shy and thank you for showing us the busy life of a GOM

as a GOM I 100% agree with everything!! I only started hosting last year and I’m still buffed by people who ghost? Especially when it’s at the domestic payment stage.. like you’re almost there to receive your items and you’ll hold off on the smallest payment? I don’t get it 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️
