Kevin, like most folks, I get so busy that I don't take the time to check in with my friends (and that includes you)! However, I indulged myself today and enjoyed my lunch in front of my computer while I shared your day with you! Your interests are so varied, your gardens so beautiful and productive, your meals such a delight to 'share' (of course I own your cookbook), and your home such a treasure to behold (even as you're cleaning it)! Thank you so much for continuing to share your life with all of us! Oh, I would stay and meander through your posts further, but alas, I. have work to do, too! I have to finish planting the boxwood plants that I started, as per your instructions, into a hedge around my she-shed! From tiny little 3-inch cuttings, they have grown to be almost a foot tall and are sure to fill out nicely in a year or two! Again, thank you, Kevin!

Like you, I love Blue and White china and porcelain and I noticed the dish you used for the cheese is identical to my own favourite which I use for eating puddings and fruit salads out of!! What a wonderful day! Following your videos might just get me a little more organized! My exercise is usually tending my 3500 sq ft, inground garden. Today, however, I'll be outside collecting the pecans that are falling from my 5 pecan trees - That's my exercise for the day! I'm a retired paralegal, and spent 30+ years behind a desk. My idea of indoor exercise is taking a bath, pulling the plug and fighting the current, and my short, round body certainly show it! I applaud you! I love to cook, and I spend most of my days canning, dehydrating and vacu-sealing produce from my garden and things I've bought from the store. Soon, I'll be making, freezing and vacu-sealing home made ravioli, and drying pasta. My life is spent on a very tight budget, but I get so much joy out of preserving and cooking!

It was nice to tag along with you today. Your fortunate to have ripe tomatoes. Our warm crops are behind as a result of cool and rainy June. Now it is 104. I like the clean 1 room, 1 bathroom cleaning routine. In seven days it's time to start over. I always have 15-20 minutes each day to clean. If we have friends over it's a quick panic clean.

Drizzling in the olive oil must be the key. I always end up adding water which feels contrary to cooking science lol! I feel encouraged by your videos. You add such beauty to all you do and help to encourage me to walk more (my only real exercise) and, to clean more often. I was kicking myself (so to speak...I need more exercise for that LOL)... that I did not deep clean more often when I did a recent move. oy!!! 🧐 I hope you have a fabulous day! I hope to make a wild greens pesto soon. I do not have a garden this year. Camping for many months in Sunny New Mexico but, with recent monsoon rains= many wild greens to make pesto including nettles. I do not know if I have told you or not, but I used to have dishes just like yours. I gave my set to a needy family who needed them. I have tried the zucchini casserole and love it. I think the one thing I most feel from your videos, is that they are so warm and welcoming, and I enjoy the visit by way of video. I was wondering if you felt comfortable in doing so, could you play the piano for us some time? Thank you for sharing your veggie garden with us.
