Param..I am from Lahore and i just saw you srllankan episode. i have never been to India but i hsve met Indian in Middle east. They are super hospitable and so are the people in Pakistan. We all are same, only a borderline seperates us all. Apart from that both countries are super hospitable in all way possible.

Seems like, kindness flowing in air of Sri Lanka, first that auto driver who refused extra money, even charged discounted fare, second that Pakistani lady who shows respect for an Indian, and last our Paramveer bhai, who showed us his experiences honestly

I will go to srilanka for my honeymoon in November or December irrespective of what inflation or whatever political crisis .. Some little bit forex dollars spent there may or may not help them but as a neighbour i would help them to get out of this crisis .. My money spent there will be like a squirrel 🐿️ putting some sand while building ram setu .. But still i request every indian traveler who is reading comments to contribute your portion of money in travel .. It would be a foreign trip .. Many people go to Thailand , Vietnam , dubai , Singapore , Maldives .. every place has its own speciality.. But speciality of srilanka is seen in these calm srilankan people even in this crisis they are very calm .. No one yet tried to charge extra money from paramveer even in this situation .. And in Indian perspective srilanka is very cheap or equal to india .. Only costly thing will be flight and visa fee ( i think they have reduced it to attract tourists) ..

Pakistanis are very hospitable. They rarely allow foreigners to pay for food in their country. I've seen Pakistani restaurant owner refusing to accept money in Malaysia. Thanks to the kind sister.

Sri lanka is beautiful and much cleaner than major indian cities. I am saying this as an indian and this isn't trash talking about my own country but rather a commentary purely out of frustration. People at large lack civic sense and disregard public properties and often blame the government for almost everything. It is unfortunate. When the crisis subside, I will definitely make plans to visit sri lanka.

I had a similar experience when I visited kartarpur Sahib. Visitors from Lahore & Sialkot did not allow me to pay the bill. They wanted to learn more about India. The real feeling & not what the media has been feeding. Media behaves the same on both sides. People behave the opposite on both sides. Thanks to the young lady who has won our hearts. Great to see Pakistani sister show her class. I had a similar situation when i landed in Torino train station in Italy along with with my family and I had a couple of hours to see some places. I asked a lot of ppl and no one guided me properly, But I met a Pakistani brother , who not only guided me but also came along with my family and personally showed all the places and dropped me back at the station. He was actually going for an interview, but postponed the same and went later. I had no words to express my Thanks to him. People are wonderful all over the world but for politics and religion

Similar thing happened with me in Singapore. Had visited the country in 2018 for a competition where teams from Pakistan also participated. After the competition we planned for a dinner. We were 7 Indians and 5 Pakistanis. To our surprise, Pakistanis paid for our dinner stating that you guys performed well in the competition, the party is on us. We were overwhelmed not by the fact that they paid for our dinner, but for the immense respect they had for us.

Srilanka has won 4 medals in CWG, congratulations to those the athletes, Hats off for achieving something amidst the crisis in their country. People are good and hospitable. Inspite of difficulties, the auto man refused to take extra money from a tourist. Though there was protest, people don't damage public property. Train journey was worth for ticket value. Last but not the least, a Big Thanks to the gentle and hospitable lady from pakistan.May God bless her. Even I had good experience with people from pak and even I tried to do my bit.

Thank you. I had a similar experience in Saudi Arabia. The driver of a taxi in which I was travelling in Al Khobar politely refused to take fare from me, saying "you have travelled in my cab before" He was a Pakistani. Unbelievable. You are right generally people are good. Thank you very much

You are right, all hate in the world is due to politics and religion. When I moved to Canada many years ago, the nice person who gave me first job, was from India. I still have great respect for him and his family. I always call him brother. He is Sikh, his wife is Hindu and I am Muslim. I am living in different city now but still when I go to Toronto, he picks me up and take me to his home. That home is like my own home. His children give me the respect as real uncle. I love Indian people. Sri Lankan people are also very nice. Thanks Paramvir for this Vlog. Respect for you and the sister who paid your bill. Thanks again

I used to work for Infosys, an Indian company for a project in Switzerland with many Indian employees, and I was completely overwhelmed by their kind hospitality and friendliness when they knew my background was Pakistani. Completely blew me away and an experience I'll never forget. They would make sure the food was halal and showed immense respect throughout my employment there. May there be peace and friendship between Pakistan and India and long live Indian IT companies! Greetings from the UK
