I flew UK to Morocco on Monarch Airlines with a seat pitch of about two inches, it wasn't the world's longest flight by time or distance, but it certainly felt like it.

Another wonderful video. The Hacienda is one of my favorite aviation stories. With New York as a backdrop, I felt like I was watching a Casey Neistat video. I love watching your videos and the stories they tell. I am looking forward to your take on Kitty Hawk, after you land at First Flight Airport, on your "trip that shall not be mentioned".

I love the random videos like this, cycling along the solar system or the cycle track around Melbourne. However for the first time ever your editing when you first cut to NY was not perfect! I don’t know how you manage such great film making without doing this more often.

@4:48 Slight correction - VH-OJA's London-Sydney non-stop was 1989 and it was part of the delivery flight of the first Qantas 747-400 rather than the retirement. As another commenter mentioned they supposedly had special fuel and even got a tow out as close to the runway as they could.

Right on, I've been there a few times for the Red bull air races, I remember seeing that hanging from the ceiling not knowing what it was. They have good aviation heritage represented in there.

Used to fly Singapore Airlines a lot, would love to take that flight to NY one day. Loved visiting VH-OJA recently too. The volunteers at HARS (some, who actually worked on OJA) were so cool, helping me make a kids video about her. I need to remember to get good B-Roll like you though. 😂

Hey Steph. Great video. Regarding the distances you were referring to. I'm assuming that they are the basic point to point distances. Each flight will obviously be a little different, and some very different depending on if they are put into a holding pattern. Did your research determine exactly which flight it was that has the longest commercial flight by actual distances travelled?

@JSFGuy I watch every single video. I also watch all videos at 2x speed. I can make a comment half way through a video and understand the content that is made. I have yet to see a video that is not well presented or that does not interest me. Now that you have made a highlighted comment to make try and make an arse of me and failed go pick on someone else. As far as am aware these kind of comments are not welcome here.

You have no idea of my level of comprehension regarding watching videos at any speed nor shall I try and elaborate to a keyboard warrior whom, in my opinion should use his time more productivity and educate themselves on something other than trying to waste and belittle people for their own self gratification. I flew on that Qantas aircraft, and I remember reading the notice inside the aircraft with all the facts a figures on it. If I remember correctly it used 177,000 liters of fuel for the flight.

VH-OJA London Sydney it was a delivery flight Shell developed special fuel for it that was trucked in from Holland The Aircraft had things taken off it like Galley carts etc to reduce the weight At Heathrow it was towed out to the runway and they took off from landing runway route to marginally reduced the miles that they had to be flown over Europe the got given special clearances to reduce their track I think 16 people where on board Some of many useless aviation facts There was an article in Australian Aviation about it If my memory is correct at the time it went to HARS ✈️😀

There has been another long flight which Qantas actually have done; while delivering their new Boeing 787, one of them(nicknamed Longreach, VH-ZNJ) participated on project sunrise, from London to Sydney nonstop. Must have been unique experience for those participants for staying in one aircraft for nearly 19 hours(actual flight was around 18:30)

Nice one Stef. Had my first trip to NY a year or so ago and loved it - dying to go back to see all the remaining places on my NY list. First learnt about the record - making C172 flight while making a detailed video on the history of the C172 kzfaq.info/get/bejne/qbeibKensdi3d4E.htmlsi=PcqLwkKcH0gChaRO There is freeware livery for that record flight aircraft in MSFS. Maybe one day you could visit the current Cessna factory in Independance? Cheers.

1:01 Red Bull was the closest he was ever gonna get to a title, had he been there in 2021 at Red Bull, things would have been different, with the current driver market, he doesnt seem to win anytime soon and Williams arguably might never win again

I still think he has a good chance to work up through the teams over the next few years. Would love to see him at Mercedes if Lewis retire in a couple of years. Or with Alonso at Aston Martin, but the chances of Lance moving on are basically zero.
