Being alone helped me find myself and improve my creativity. This week I'm spending completely alone in the countryside, and I have to say - it's not as bad as it may seem. There is the difference between being alone and being lonely, and it's definitely not the latter.

As someone who LOVES to be alone and spends a lot of time alone, I completely understand you. For me being around a lot of people or spending a lot of time with people in general, I feel lost and overwhelmed. I think you have a beautiful mind and soul and how you see the world is dreamy.

Whoa! That was magical! The music, the shots, the message! It's a very interesting idea about how we hide our true selves and sometimes can even forget who we truly are. Being alone every now and then does sound like an important thing everyone of us should do. Glad you found this time creative and fulfilling! :) And just how adorable that neighbours cat is?! :D

I just discovered your KZfaq channel and what caught my attention was your title of your video…..I’m a person who loves spending time alone and find peace and recharge when I’m alone ….My question is how would you explain to someone the difference between being lonely or a lonelier,and feeling alone? I believe there’s quite a big difference in being alone (a loner) and being lonely (feeling alone). I think loneliness is bigger than just being alone, it’s about being uncomfortable with your reality, or with your own company. Being alone, and feeling good about it is quite healthy, that means you’re content with who you are, have things to do and enjoy your time with yourself. It doesn’t mean that you’re always alone though - you may have people around, whose company you love, but you’re okay when they’re not around also. Loneliness is deeper, more complicated. It’s being disconnected with who you are. It’s seeking company to fill up your time and your soul, which feels empty. Though sometimes you can also feel lonely when people around you are not right for you, when your energy doesn’t align. There’s so much more I’d like to say about it, but this is just a gist.☺️

Hi. Grannie Cyndy from South Australia here. I just discovered this wonderful channel too. Forgive me if I have a go at answering your query. You know how people say you can be lonely in a room full of people. That is the truth of it. If you feel unworthy, unwelcome, unwanted, less than, then you can be desperately lonely in a crowd. In fact it's worse than when you're actually alone. I know first hand. I've spent years there. But if you're at peace with yourself, being alone is a quiet and enjoyable opportunity to watch nature, clean house, paint pictures, read, work out, meditate, pray...you get my drift. You're happy in your own company. Hope that adds further explanation for you. All the very best.
