The constitution of both countries accept dual citizenship. The only thing with Ghana is that you can't occupy elective position as a dual citizen. Hence you either pledge your allegiance to the other country and forgo your political ambition or the other way round. Aside that you can still be a citizen of both countries. I'm a Ghanaian-Nigerian and I claim both countries with every right that full blood ones would do. In my own case my primary and JHS were in Ghana and SHS and Uni in Nigeria. Don't be a stranger in your own land. Identity crisis is what those in our category do go through, but Ghana is warm and welcoming. Therefore, integrate into the system and lead a happy and fulfilled life.

Madam just use your father’s name to acquires birth certificate and proceed to do a passport and you will be good to go just claim k’Town as your place of birth but for this to work you need to connect to your Dad’s family in Ghana to be able to sail through 😮

Moving freely doesn't mean you can reside freely in any Ecowas country. Freely for just 90 days only. I don't know why you guys can't get that simple law correct. You need permit to reside in any Ecowas member state after 90 days.

She's not automatic if the Dad haven't held Ghanaian passport. From what she said the father is half Ghanaian. So if the father never held Ghana passport then she's not qualified straight away. She has to take the citizenship from her grandparent from her father side.

What she is saying about the school system was not there before 2016 bcos every student pays school fees and it was hard for children of poor family so in 2017 the government decided to make SHS free for everyone and with for free SHS the classrooms was packed that's why we have some going then some will be waiting, but government is building more schools and more classrooms and boarding houses to accommodate all the student. What she is about is not perminant.SHe need to enquire more about this information .

There's one thing most young Nigerians don't know if you cone to Ghana, Ghana is ahead of Nigerian politically, pan Africanist,Nigerians only think about their population, the size of the their country and money 💰, Ghana is the first country to gain independence and kwame nkrumah did alot for african countries, the first african president to try unify african countries to be united,

Let's be respectful here, I am a Ghanaian but have much love for Nigeria and every other African country because Ghana can't grow without Nigeria and vice-versa. The bottom line is that as a Pan-African we need the unity of the entire continent to succeed

@@ahmedalhassan4341 Please, What exactly was disrespectful in the comment? Does Pan-African mean one cannot state facts or even truth? BLUE, SHE CAN GET HER FAMILY WHEN SHE DUBMIT HER DADDY'S PHOTOS AND FAMILY NAME TO THE GHANA INFORMATION CENTRE, ANY FM STATION WITHOUT BEING ON AIR , THE FM STATION WILL LOOK FOR HER FAMILY AND GET THE FAMILY THAT VERY DAY. NO. 2 HER CITIZENSHIP IS AUTOMATIC WETHER SHE HAS DOCUMENTS OR NOT IS AUTOMATIC. SHE SHOULD GET THE BURIAL CERTIFICATE AND OBITUARY POSTERS OF HER DAD AND SUBMIT TO THE GHANA MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS HEAD OFFICE, NOT GHANA IMMGRATION AND SHE WILL GET HER CITIZENSHIP . NO.3. SHE CAN HAVE HER NIGERIAN AND GHANAIAN CITIZENSHIP AS DUAL CITIZENSHIP. GHANA AND NIGERIA ASSIGNED TO THE DUAL CITIZENSHIP

In Ghana we accept dual citizenship. So if you're doing Ghana card and you claimed to be a Ghanaian then you ought to know something about your paternal family other than that forget it. Since your mother is alive I think you can consult her to tell you more about your dad's side. Again, do you want to tell me all this while your dad never gave you a clue about his family. Again, in Ghana there are some towns we don't consider anyone hometown and Koforidua is one of such towns. IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW.
