Just after he made tributes to the friends he grew up with.. What a man we lost.

I heard him during long periods of isolation due to my profession. Every time I was working and not quitting, Spetz was tearing down and explaining the ins and outs of the illusions tugging at me and why. Paid off and now he's gone. Taught me to appreciate good instructors while we have them. Every man has seen what "they" really think of us. Spetsnaz told us.

Thank you for the update. He's the person that introduced me to the philosophy.

His videos, got me through really difficult times. Encouraged me to look in myself, and never stop asking questions. The impact of his videos cannot be understated. He's one of the greats. If i watched some of his videos on VHS the film would've melted from overuse. In a world lacking male role models his contributions are priceless. His work needs to be backed up and reinforced in archives.

The sun grew a little bit colder, The sea feels less blue. Now I feel a bit older. The world grew darker With the loss of you. Thanks for touching my heart and making me feel understood. I remember several times you would bring me to tears. You spoke outloud ao many dirty secrets i had locked away. You made me blame myself less. You made me feel better about myself. Less of a freak of nature. I felt less alone when you were talking. The best masculine love and empathy. The sun was a little less bright this morning. RiP Sir.

I was just thinking of his classic video "the disposable male", time to listen to it again. I always thought Spetsnaz videos were so full of wisdom someone could make short videos from his video essays for years.

Oh No! I am so deeply saddened. This is so unspeakably tragic. Words cannot express my sorrow. He was surely too young to die. It breaks my heart to realize that the finest men in the annals of history are often those with the shortest life. I think it was Alexander the Great who said it is better to live a short life full of great deeds than a long and event-less life. Alexander fit this bill, and so did Spetsnaz. Life is a gift. Treasure every moment of it, for it is fragile and can be extinguished at any moment.

And just like that, a man's life, whose voice has resonated with me, is over. The fragility of life. Sic transit. Gloria mundi.

It's eerie I came across this despite having barely checked my feed at all this year. I just happened to open it up within the hour of news like this dropping. Given what he did, I feel a need to say something. But I think living his message means more than some cheap words at his digital funeral. I'll follow my whims instead, and what my soul is telling me to do. That's a more meaningful tribute to his death than anything else could be.

Oh man. This is a shock. I was looking forward to his next work. I found him in 2019 and I just rewatched almost all his vids just last month. Thank you, Spetsnaz. You were the real deal: you cared about men and articulated out loud what others didn’t want to or couldn’t. You shaped my worldview as an adult so much. And you called out all these conmen and society itself preying on male vulnerability. As another comment said Spetsnaz himself quoted Wilde in Male Grief: “The greatest tribute to the dead is not grief… but gratitude.” I am grateful for the knowledge you imparted on this struggling introverted male and I will apply it. “Knowledge without application is meaningless” he also said in a vid. I am glad I got to hear your words. Like another comment said again, he would want us to live our best lives utilizing the understanding and knowledge he passed on to us. That is the best way to honor and remember him. Eerily similar to what he said about his friend Markie. Condolences to friends and family. RIP legend.
