The verse Geri sang was a combination of both Geri and Victoria’s part Victoria’s part in the single version: Once again if we endeavour, Love will bring us back together, Take it or leave it, Take it or leave it. Geri’s part in the album version: Any deal that we endeavour, Boys and girls feel good together, Take it or leave it, Take it or leave it. The verse in this song sung by Geri: Any deal that we endeavour, Love will bring us back together, Take it or leave it, Take it or leave it. Love that she included both in! 😍

Every one got quiet when Geri started to sing. Well didn’t know what verse yet. Any deal that we endeavor or once again if we endeavor. But she did both versions in one.

Actually was Geri’s part originally but they changed the lyrics and who sang it for the single/video/performance versions. Geri’s original part and original lyrics are still on the album version

They changed the lyrics back in 1997 when performing and on the video to be more LGBT inclusive. Instead of "boys and girls feel good together" they had victoria sing "love will bring us back together". Nice lyric change, even as a gay person I was fine with the old line. But I prefer Geris voice over Vic's any day. Victoria replaced Geri as the vocalist for that line, because at the time Geri had a hard time singing that part vocally. They've spoken about it before.
