Including an album entry on a non reggae album chart on billboard. She is the first hardcore female dancehall artist to earn a SOLO Grammy nomination for their own body of work in the history of Jamaican music. Lady saw solo accolades barely exist. She doesn’t have the solo accolades to walk near Spice. Lady saw doesn’t even have a #1 reggae album on billboard, 7 of 10 of her albums failed to debut on billboard reggae albums. Lady saw lied about being a triple platinum selling artist for 2 decades only for it to be revealed that Her song with No doubt “Underneath It All” only sold GOLD IN THE US March 2021 and Platinum July 2023. It took 22 years to earn platinum status. So she was platinum NOTHING before then. Her only SOLO accolades she has to her name are her 3 billboard reggae albums entries, and a non reggae song and album entry on billboard. She accomplished nothing major on her own or that Spice didn’t as a SOLO ACT. Only 3 of 10 of Lady Saw albums debuted on billboard reggae albums chart for a “Queen.” All her major achievements came from her collab with no doubt and vitamin c. She doesn’t have the solo accolades nor has she broke glass ceilings on her own in the way Spice has internationally to still be referred to as the Queen of dancehall in today’s day.

Guh Nyam sheet and gweh. lol Lady saw cannot be the greatest. Her contribution was awesome, but there’s no way she’s the greatest. Spice have broken way more grounds than her. Yet still she said she’s not the best. Spice have way passed them, but she’s humble. Spice represent way beyond what all the others have done and she’s still doing it.

Spice samples dawned Penn, sister Nancy, patra, Althea and Donna in that same “romantic mood” song. You people only know negativity so the homage went over your heads.

What are lady saw solo accoldes? It’s been 30 plus years not one solo song or lead collaboration for lady saw has sold in the US, UK or Canadian market. Lady saw has 10 albums and only 3 enter billboard reggae albums chart. I’ve got her man charted on a billboard singles chart and one album outside of reggae. Other than that her solo accolades do not exist. Spice has the most charted entries on billboard reggae albums chart since the charts existence as a female dancehall artist including an entry on billboard heatseekers albums chart. None of lady saw’s body of work was nominated for a Grammy. Her major career defining accolades are all from collaborations but they’re out here speaking on Spice as if Lady Saw broke some major glass ceilings on her own without having to climb on No Doubt’s or vitamin C’s back. 🥱 She doesn’t have the solo accolades to walk near Spice. She got away with claiming to be a triple platinum selling artist for 2 decades only for it to be revealed that Underneath It All just reached platinum status 22 years after it’s released. No doubt’s album milestone never applied to her.
