Spicy Eggplant recipe is really popular in Philippines and this scrumptious dish is made by egg plant, onion, garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar, banana ketchup, pepper, chilies. Follow this recipe video to make this tasty , sweet and spicy eggplant in your home. You can serve it with rice or use as a side dish.

INGREDIENTS
✔️1/2 kilo Eggplant (sliced)
✔️1 medium onion (chopped)
✔️3 cloves garlic (chopped)
✔️1 tablespoon soy sauce
✔️1 tablespoon oyster sauce
✔️1 1/2 tablespoon sugar
✔️2 tablespoon banana ketchup
✔️1/4 teaspoon pepper
✔️Chillies (add depends on how hot you want)
✔️oil for frying

how did you cook your fried chicken

@@Roy_yeah_yeah Oh I had them fried! I used the chicken breasts (boneless) and chopped them to bite sizes. I used 1 egg, all purpose flour, salt & pepper. I didnt use crispy breading or anything since its not needed. Marinate it in the mix Then i fried them until golden light brown. The remaining goopy mix can be mixed with another egg or just use what remained alone and cook it, they'll be the flavored egg toppings. I chopped em up to bits Then just follow this video, but this time, add the chicken first before the eggplant this way the meat also "marinates" in the sauce Hope that helps^^

The ketchup you use looks exactly like tomato ketchup. I have never seen banana ketchup anywhere. Would it change the flavor much by using tomato ketchup instead?

banana ketchup is sweeter than tomato ketchup, so maybe add an extra tsp of sugar
