Give it some time. When the community figures out how to make custom slots and how to import animations, the game will reach Project M and Brawl EX levels of insanity.

The only thing holding it back imo from reaching its full potential is some kind of consensus. If there are already 3 versions of Virgil and 3x Akuma learning match ups is impossible. I like to envision some kind of Democratic system where maybe the molders or players vote on the BEST iteration of a character and the one that is elected gets to be used in competitive. I also think that could be the best way to keep things balanced (well as balanced as anyone WANTS to see MAHVEL anyway). Probably just my imagination running wild though.

Ashura seems like one of the better additions to the modded character roster. Overall animation and play style are pretty cool and seem a little more deliberate than a reskinning of nova

Monster hunter needs a DMG buff and DMC5 Vergil needs a health buff. It's a shame that we may never see Jedah in MVC3 because his animations are so unique.

I predict the source code for this game will be dumped online some time this year. With the actual game in their hands, modders will then be able to make new content from scratch, maybe an entirely new game.

The MvCI tag system in UMvC3 is a train wreck waiting to happen. There's a reason MvCI was 2v2. Though what I don't get is why it didn't have co-op.

Marvel 3 modding has gone from "wow modded added Captain Marvel? Awesome!" to adding like... half the Marvel 2 missing characters in less than two years time. That is insane. I can't wait for the future where modders are putting in damn near every remotely prominent Marvel and Capcom character to the game, especially if Marvel 3 ever somehow gets rollback netcode.
