In the tie in comic for this movie it's revealed that brock and gwen only went out once the nigth before and she didn't like him. But in his mind they were dating and in love. It added so much to his character and in this scene when she runs past him would've made more sense. Wish they would've added that scene to the movie

There's also comics for part 1 and 2 where he fights vulture and mysterio and kraven and meets blackcat between movies. Again all cannon to the sam raimy spiderman universe.

Showing him being obsessed makes more sense in him kidnapping Mary Jane and saying you "you made me lose my girl, now I'm gonna make you lose yours" when In fact they weren't even dating but it showed eddie brock being psychotic before becoming venom.

@@samilperalta7456 I love this movie but for example the swinging at 2:01 - 2:08 does not look smooth at all:D Great movie tho and the CGI is pretty good for a film that came out in 2007. It's just that today's CGi can be so perfect which makes it easier to spot bad or even average CGI when seeing it.

Always found it kinda scary at how badly fate seemed to want to kill Gwen here. First shes the only person out of 3 on that broken part to slip. She manages to hold onto the phone and it snaps, not so weird because that line isnt made to carry the weight of a whole person. She then grabs onto the ledge, a freaking desk pushes her off but she holds on so tightly the ledge she held onto to peels off. Then the crane comes back going straight for her causing her to fall. And then Spidey manages to grab her a second before 2 pieces of large debris were about to crush her midair meaning she wouldve died before she even hit the ground. Like bruh…
