It's not really breaking the fourth wall exactly. he says it like a proverb as this is the final fight between him and venom. But it also is a pun on the game's ending fight

It was recycled footage from the PS3/Xbox 360/PC version of the game. That’s probably why it doesn’t exactly line up with what happened in this version.

I still remember completing this game without even upgrading Spiderman.I learnt about upgrading after finishing the game as I was roaming here and there and later found that you can ACTUALLY upgrade pretty useful stuffs.It still makes me feel like a stupid as a gamer but an achievement at the same time as I had finished this game with no upgrade.It was a hard game to finish.

+LeamTRAP the humantronic A lot of things are changed for games based on the film. When compared to the movie, scorpion and the lizard weren't present but they are in the game. These games loosely follow the films while adding they're own stories to it. And since a lot of things are changed, the ending will be altered differently for the game. But that isn't always the case though.

BlinkyisKinky I never played 7th gen Spidey 3 but I had the Wii game first bought it with Birthday money from the day before saw the movie on the 5th (my birthday is May 5th) I got the Wii on that day, and I bought the Wii game the Next day, I loved it but I started REALLY hating it after the first Goblin encounter, that’s when I started learning that the Wii sucked lol then, the next year I got the PS2 version and loved it much better because at least the controller worked (I beat both but I enjoyed this version the Wii version was just pure obligation)

The game, movie and especially the music in the final battle with Venom are underrated af. I really think that the PS2 version is far superior to the Ps3/Xbox360 version. My honest opinion.

For anyone that's wondering why venom died like that is because that was an alternative ending in which he lost control of the symbiote and died. In my opinion the PS3/360/pc ending is way better.

Mr HotDog .MrHotDog He's actually easier on the PS2 if you understand his simple attack pattern. Matter of fact, this whole final battle was easier on the PS2. While Venom isn't that tough on the 360 neither, the quick time events are extremely easy to screw up. And if you screw up too many times, then you have to start the whole fight over beginning with Sandman. And if you remember correctly on the Xbox 360/PS3, fighting Sandman was easy except the QTE caused me to fail numerous times.

I remember on the 360 version when you fought venom there was a awful quick time event. Me being new to quick time events was having a hard time doing them. I might pick this game up for old times sake.

Sumthing I noticed was that venoms death in both this ps2 version and the ps3/xbox 360 verison is that its similar in a way to the original death eddie/venom was going to have in the film (venom stabbing himself with a pike n Eddie's body being turned into a pile of bones and collapsing then the symboite trys bonding with peter again for the peter to throw new goblins pumpkin bomb into the goo to explode it) in this Eddie's real body collapses n dies n in the new gen verison falls from a height to get stabbed in the chest by a pole its loosely connected I feel
