It seems Sony and Marvel have just about agreed to a plot for Spiderman 4 and it sounds like a great plan where both parties can have their way and the fans be really happy with what the Spiderman 4 plot could be! This film will also directly tie into the next two Avengers films: Avengers 5 and Avengers Secret Wars!

Sony did exact thing with Spiderman 3 movie it is original ment to be a film of Peter Harry and Sandman but Sony forced sam raime to include venom in the story so venom don't get the character arc that we saw in venom movie so that film didn't worked well and the whole franchise dropped and Sony is already drawnning with their adventures and now they trying drain Marvel too actually Marvel is also not been in a very good place but when it comes Spidey and Loki Marvel hits the mark properly ....

Honestly, it just makes the most sense. Scorpion hating Spider-Man and wanting to discover his true identity since Homecoming could be incredible. He could’ve spent his whole incarceration trying to discover his identity and just became insanely obsessive about it. He may not know who Peter is, but maybe he’ll know that Spider-Man was a kid who went to Midtown and worked with Iron Man and other things.. yet it seems like there’s some concerted effort that has left no trace of him - a conspiracy that brings him and JJJ and even Kingpin together to fight against the tyranny of these menacing vigilantes who cover for each other and take the law into their own hands. If they really want Miles involved, this could be happening in the middle of Kingpin’s secret efforts to recreate the spider that gave Peter his powers (while also testing other scientific augmentation methods like the one that will turn Gargan into Scorpion) which Peter attempts to stop, leading one of the spiders to escape and bite Miles. If they need the multiverse involved, which I personally hate, I would really only want it to either deal with Venom sharing giving hive-mind visions to Gargan, something at the end that brings Peter and maybe Miles to Battleworld or whatever they’re planning, or maybe some weird Web of Destiny stuff that can make some people choose to watch Madame Web but doesn’t make it a necessity. Idk.

No. it's too early for Miles. We want to get used seeing Peter as a mature Spiderman before he meets Miles. It wouldn't makes sense for the story to introduce miles in the next movie. if you're gonna introduce a character, introduce him right or don't introduce him yet.

that's honestly an idea i had for beyond the spiderverse too! im thinking that beyond the spiderverse could introduce some of kind of multiversal core that creates a variant of Spider-Man in every universe. Miles can then maybe sacrifice himself by going into the core, fulfilling his character arc of being the only spider-man and feeling like a mistake, only for the multiverse to create many variants of him. this will then make beyond the spider verse practically a prequel to ALL other apperances of miles morales in marvel media. but i dont think he should sacrifice himself, so he can appear in secret wars.

Amy Pascal recently stated that she wanted Kevin Feige & Marvel Studios to be involved in the live-action Miles Morales Spider-Man movie. This is actually good thinking on Amy's part, that means this movie will effectively be part of the MCU, most probably picking up where MCU Spider-Man 4 left off.

The difference here is that Feige won't bend to that at all, once their on the same page he won't be letting them touch the story after that. And they are not in a position right now where they can challenge him.

With Kingpin banning vigilantes, they could probably get away with more villains then usual. For instance, Toomes (Vulture) Schultz (Shocker) and Gargan (Scorpion) could be given early release in exchange for hunting down vigilantes. Kraven gets hired as a private contractor too. Peter (and DD) has to play cat and mouse staying clear of them while also fighting crime and saving people. Meanwhile, he ends up with the venom suit and it starts messing with him. He eventually ditches it and it bonds with Gargan who becomes Venom (he's Venom in the comics for a while) Miles could show up just as a personal life side to the movie, not yet as Spider-Man. Mostly just setting things up. But yeah, that's about as stuffed as I think they could pull off

@@rickrivers2021 It's just that in most MCU movies that have a lot of characters specially on the villain side, a lot of them are gonna be presented in a more low key manner and might be treated as like a mob foot soldier villain and only a select few would have decent screen time and impact in the story. It helped No way home that the villains are already established in past movies. But this time Sony want A sinister 6 miles and all the spider men + multiverse shenanigans. Like how can they make the new iconic villains be relatively iconic and leave a mark woth how much the movie is gonna end up to be. Also even woth the plot structure you had theorized, in paper that is already more bloated than like the plot of Spider man 3 and Tasm 2 and is handling more characters than those 2 already did. If I highball, I could see the most of the villain characters probably will have much of a screen time as the Illuminati in Dr. Strange MoM.

@Snzn18 I'd still argue that on paper the plot for Spider-Man 3. Shocker, Vulture, and Scorpion as a trio on Fisk's leash is a single plot thread, and Kraven is another that fits right in bc he'd be working with Fisk. That's not nearly as difficult as having three seperate villain arcs for Venom, Sandman, and Harry, all with independent emotional stakes and totally independent plotlines But you're not wrong, there is only so much you can do at once, and these rumors.are concerning bc it does seem they want to do a lot. I think setting up Miles could work if you don't go the whole Spider-Man angle with him and just make him somebody in Peter's personal life. Just dropping seeds for later. Then you have more flexibility to work him in and don't have to write a whole new subplot for him. But the multiverse or a full sinister 6 would be legit terrible ideas, I agree there. Heck, the worst thing about NWH is they completely butchered Lizard and totally wasted Sandman bc they didn't have the narrative space for either

Sony should just focus on making Tobey's and Andrew's solo Spider-man films. After NWH some incursions have occurred in their universes. They face them in their movies but at the end they find out there is much more to it and the TVA steps in and they meet with Tom and other Spider-men in Secret Wars. That would be the route I'd take.

Sony should steer clear of live action Spider-Man movies. I know they have to put out movies because of the licensing etc but Sony should let Marvel Studios decide what to do in both live action universes.

I'm starting to think either: 1. Marvel will get all the live action rights of Spider-man and Sony keeps the animated film rights 2. Sony keeps all the film rights but they share it 50/50 with Marvel and the latter has access to all Spider-man characters, even for disney plus shows.

YES! It looks like Kevin Feige and Tom Holland won!!! If they're getting a new director then that points to Marvel Studios actually getting what they want for Spider-Man 4! We're going to get an entirely new director for this new vision in this new trilogy, and now it looks like the movie is going to be street-level with Daredevil and Kingpin! Let's go! I'm glad Marvel Studios won, and Sony lost this one. 😅

Well a new director was inevitable as Jon Watts has already stated he was taking a break from super hero movies. There was no way Sony was going to get him back especially with the way they were acting about it. I would've been happy if he did come back but a fresh face is always good and Sony needs some humble pie ontop of it.

Not to mention, Mr Sam Raimi recently confirmed himself a few days ago that spider man 4 with Mr Maguire is happening, because he has the same desire as all of us. But he said that if it will happen, it will happen at the right time. Which indicates that spider man 4 with mr Maguire which may also connect to the mcu and Avengers 5 and Avengers Secret Wars, is going to happen. Yes Spider-Man 4 with Mr Sam Raimi and Tobey Maguire will definitely happen in the future and it will tie into everything, leading up to secret wars.

If the villain is scorpion,don’t kill scorpion,save him for the sinister six vulture is creating,and then have kingpin recruit them (vulture,scorpion,shocker, morbius,rhino,and kraven the hunter)to hunt the hero’s that don’t abide by his rules and there you go

I'm glad Sony and Marvel are coming to an understanding instead of butting heads, SM4 being syrret level with DD is the right way to go imo and actually Norman Osborn being an obligation is great if we get an mcu green goblin! I wonder if Raimis SM4 will deal with the aftermath of NWH bring Dafoe back,maybe we see a reformed Norman becoming successful even until like vulture or someone comes in... I still think Spider-Man 4 should be a Street level movie instead of just being a Multiverse level movie because it centers around Kingpin running for Mayor like in the comics(Devil's Reign). We need a street level plot where Spider-Man teams up with DareDevil to fight Mayor Fisk who's outlawing heroes in NYC. It's a good move for Marvel Studios to release the movie in 2026 because it'll give em time for them to release the Fantastic Four movie later that year. I'm excited regardless.

Only thing I would change is the introduction of Miles in the MCU. It seems way too soon to have him come in as Spider Man unless it is a multiverse one that comes with Toby and Andrew.

You know its also possible that the part of venom which was left in MCU makes flash his host. We actually see this happen in ultimate spider man animated serioes, in that series venom identifies flash as an ideal host thats why flash remains in full control of himself and venom doesnt take over him. It sure will be interesting if this happens

I think they should pull an infinity war where the multiverse is breaking in a big movie and in movies between that and secret wars we see a post credit scene where the multiverse is collapsing so that way it can make sense and set up the characters in those movies for secret wars

I think it’s much too early for Miles Morales. If we are going with the 3 set of trilogies theory, maybe he can be introduced in the 5th or 6th film and then more heavily in the last trilogy.
