How significant is the npc density reduction? Didn’t look too different in the video

@@lorankatoran8856 it’s really hard to tell while playing. I switched back and forth in time square. The fidelity mode is the most, but you can’t really tell in play. It’s such a fast moving game, that the 60fps is just so much better. You do notice the reflections even in performance RT mode. I would say that’s the best way to play now, I only played the opening scene in that mode and couldn’t notice the dips. Looks like it’s only 58-60 FPS so that’s hard to see while playing. I’m curious to know the average resolution too, as it’s just super sharp. Even swinging through the city in the rhino scene and the mall it still looks plenty sharp to me in the new performance RT mode.

@@gouthamchelluboyina2113 Upscaling doesn’t change the pixel count, it’s still half the resolution in-game. But it doesn’t look bad by any means, especially for what you’re getting out of it in this case.

I'm the same, wished I didn't start in the 60fps mode as making the switch to 30fps is so hard and hurts my eyes. If I started on 30fps fidelity I'm sure I would have been okay.

RT performance is 1440P 60fps with RTX..... Regular performance mode is just 4K 60fps

Actually, if there is a big difference, you just have to put the camera mode up close and appreciate the textures but at first glance it is not noticeable

@@ignite513 yes, I have ps5 using a OLED55C9PLA, yes you can have better graphics agree! But the FPS also is good graphics and way more smooth to enjoy the experience, it’s about preference :)

I am missing New-York feeling in Performance modes because of less crowd and cars density. It looks like small town :) Or maybe it’s more realistic due to COVID-19.

@@joshsprinkles1282 you're right. Already did my research after this comment. Never had a console since ps2 and psp so i couldn't understand why the options are so limited compared to pc. It all boils down to the dev's time and resources. And console gamers does not care about fps as much I guess, like I am back then. I just hope that the performance rt mode would be a constant option in the future.

@@Audrius987 i think they messed with the clips while making the video because fps mode is more stable than rt performance mode and touches 60 almost all the time so its pointless that the video of fps mode is on 30.

@@joseff3533 todo depende de donde juegues y del gusto personal, hay gente más sensible a los fps y gente más sensible a la resolución. A 65 pulgadas a 2m se nota mucho la falta de resolución. Yo hay juegos que los tolero perfectamente a 30fps, en cambio otros no. Por ejemplo Horizon FW para mi va perfecto y suave a 30, en cambio elden ring me pide 60 como el comer porque a 30 rasca que da gusto y encima no mejora nada los gráficos. Todo depende del juego y de los sacrificios que exija el modo 60fps, una cosa es perder un poco de resolución y otra tener que jugar a resoluciónes cercanas a 1080 y con recortes gráficos serios. Yo no creo para nada que sea obsoleto jugar a 30 fps dependiendo del juego, en cambio 1080p si me parece muy arcaico a menos que juegues en un monitor o en una pantalla tirando a pequeña. El RT en consolas más vale olvidarse de el porque es testimonial, habrá que esperar a la siguiente generación o al menos a versiones más potentes de esta. Piensa que van a seguir saliendo muchos juegos pensados para ser jugados a 30fps, los desarrolladores al final tiran por el músculo gráfico en los juegos con carga grafica importante. Eso si, siempre daran opción de modo rendimiento o calidad, y cada uno que elija.

es que en este caso no existe esa posibilidad, es o 4k o 1080p no hay 2k

Ningúna consola va a alcanzar 60 fps en algún juego y si por alguna razón lo hace es por algún modo especial o que no exprime para nada la consola nunca hay una diferencia de fps entre consolas, si te quejas de los 30 fps quejate con la generación entera

Alcanza sólo en juegos exclusivos, ya depende de los desarrolladores si aprovechan la consola y optimizan sus juegos

You answered your own question. Fidelity has better graphics (including better ray tracing) and lighting, but locked at 30 FPS. Performance has 60 FPS and close to 4K, but sacrifices lighting and ray tracing. And performance rt has minimal ray tracing and locked at 60 FPS, but graphic downgrade a bit somewhere between 1080 or 1440.

@@sonartz15 no, ve digital faundry, un modo es 4k/30 ray y el otro 4k/60, 0 recortes de resolusion, informate antes de hablar, el unico recorte pasa en el modo rt rendimiento.... ps5 solo soporta 4k o 1080 y en digital faundry comprobaron q contaron los mismos pixeles en rendimiento y resolusion
