See this, THIS could have worked. aside from comic fans; most were introduced to the SPiderverse through the movies. So this could work. I'm not big on multiplayers but this could have been fun.

An online Marvel Spiderman game would be amazing It's a shame that it was canceled,the villains that would have been featured in the game in the supposed trailer would be: Sinister Six formed by: Doc Ock,Venom,Shocker,Scorpion,Electro and Vulture + Rhino,Mysterio and Sandman as extras and We would also have the fusion of Venom With Sandman and we would also have the fusion of Electro and Sandman That would be badass to see A shame it was discarded before its time I don't doubt alternate version villains in villains of the week events Like dlcs or updates on supposed events with other villains Some ideas: the Invasion of Carnage/Venom/Symbiotes,Morbius/Morlun Vampires,Wolf-Man,Goblins,Lizards,Thinkerer and the Big Hunt With Kraven,Taskmaster and Chameleon on a hide and seek mission or maybe one mission the thief Cat From the Black Cat and organized crime with Kingpin,the Rose,Enforcers,Alistair Smythe,Tarantula,Swarm,Tombstone,Prowler,Bigman/Crime Master,Mister Negative and Hammerhead Various possibilities and ideas for side mission villains for this online multiplayer game UwU I hope insominiac Games thinks better and makes this game after Spiderman 3 There are all the villains to be used,who supports and likes this idea? 🤔😎🥺🤧🤔🙏🙏 Like and Bye!

absolutely degenerate decision to cancel this. Spider-Man 2 is garbage the least they could do is give us the multiplayer experience everyone wanted. Insomniac is completely trashed in my eyes. They put such little effort into Spider-Man 2 and have only CONSTANTLY FUCKED UP SINCE THEY PUT IT OUT... Leaks of their entire upcoming catalog and employee information, using Sweet Baby Inc and their trash writers, cancelling this, SEEMINGLY having no plans for Spider-Man 2 DLC. They have no clue what they're doing and its honestly pathetic. They gotta realize how bad they're fucking it up at some point.

I know about the Beetle DLC, where it is stated literally nowhere that theres going to be 3 DLC stories. To compare, Spider-Man PS4 had 3 DLC stories come out A MONTH. A SINGLE MONTH after the game released. Its been 6 months since SM2 came out. You have no clue what you're talking about and you're defending a company that has completely fumbled the second iteration of what could have been an amazing franchise. I've played the game 4 times now. Its an absolute and utter disappointment on all fronts I could ramble on and on about how many things they could have done 10x better but its not even worth it because the Sony execs do not care.
