@@theinappropriate1343 Those are literally the exact biological mechanisms spiders use to cling to walls. This incarnation of Spider-Man is genetically enhanced, therefore, a lot of his powers are biologically based(I.e, he can produce organic webbing as opposed to using mechanical webshooters). In the comic books, however, where his powers originate due to being bitten by a spider that was exposed to radiation, his powers have somewhat of a "molecular" origin, if you will. It's been suggested that Spidey clings to walls by altering the composition of his finger tips and the things he touches.

I like how the reboots of the spider man still contained spider-like abilities, such as being able to sense danger and climb walls with spider blades or whatever those are, except for organic webs.
