If you're a Spider-Man fan and like the idea of seeing a whole bunch of variant spider people in a big event then yeah definitely!

What’s the read order? I have just bought both of the spider Gwen omnibuses but do I read spidergedon first before that?

In relation to Gwen specifically, you'd read Spider-Verse, then the first Spider-Gwen omnibus, then Spider-Geddon, then the Ghost-Spider omnibus

well I have a reading order, tell me if i can read it this way, Ultimate spiderman vol 1 and 2 Then jump to miles morales volume 1 and 2 Then the spider geddon Is it a good way to collect spiderman omnibuses?

That's fine but keep in mind there's a big gap of material in between the end of Ultimate Vol 2 and the first Miles Morales omnibus. It won't matter too much as the Miles Omnibus will catch you up easily enough I think, but another point is I'd say overall this Spider-Verse/Spider-Geddon Omnibus can be read without any specific prior reading being required if you already have a general familiarity with Spider-Man

@The Comic Book Trove could you give me the minimum reading order or book(omnibus) names so as to keep Spiderman collection and don't lose much of the storyline?

Read Spider-Verse in TPB and then got the Spider-Gwen Omni. I have since got the Superior Spider-Man omni. So I might get this so that I have three in a row rather than omni, trades, omni. I haven't read Spider-Geddon yet so would be good to read that also. Though I fear it will be a rinse and repeat of the first and be a little more boring due to that.

Geddon is very similar to Verse, it pretty much is more of the same. I'd say it depends how much you enjoyed the first story as it's really a case of if you liked the first one you'll probably like Geddon but it doesn't do enough differently so that if you didn't like Verse much then you'd still like Geddon

Thinking about buying this… can I still understand what’s going on in the story without reading any other Spider-Man book?

Yeah it's a pretty straightforward story overall, I'd say it gives you enough context for everything as you read through it that you don't need to specifically read anything else first. As long as you have pretty good general Spider-Man knowledge you should be fine
