well, he doesn't need to sacrifice in the first place if he doesn't screw up strange's spell. So, all the chaos in this film is causing by him. in mirror dimension, strange try to stop him but he choose other way so, the word sacrifice is too much for him. he does it because of the chaos he did before. it's not a sacrifice

After seeing this movie, all I could think about is how sad and lonely he is now that no one knows or remembers him. He lost his girlfriend, best friend, and mentor and got nothing in return. I wish I was able to walk through the movie screen and tell Peter that he is not alone. Peter is so much stronger than many realize. 😢
