Super spy Lance Sterling (Will Smith) and scientist Walter Beckett (Tom Holland) are almost exact opposites. Lance is smooth, suave and debonair. Walter is… not. But what Walter lacks in social skills he makes up for in smarts and invention, creating the awesome gadgets Lance uses on his epic missions. But when events take an unexpected turn, Walter and Lance suddenly have to rely on each other in a whole new way. And if this odd couple can’t learn to work as a team, the whole world is in peril. Kinda weird that many scientific things in the movie are incorrect, fx pigeon field of view is 340 degrees also, in the first successfull biodynamic concealment test he says exothermic reaction which is incorrect. Exothermic is the process of an chemical reaction releasing heat, not light.

Here's a twist: Lance Sterling happens to be Nick Fury's cousin. Walter is really Spider-Man from MCU who fled from NYC, after Mysterio exposed his previous identity to the whole world as Peter Parker.

The movie was pretty good, but it kind of borrowed from other movies, such as The Incredibles and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs. Plus the part where they try to make like there are no badguys was so weird.

something that has always bothered me about this trailer is: "you know how you can tell when you're the world's greatest spy?...everyone knows the name." everyone knowing your identity means you are a pretty terrible spy. edit: 1:36...🤨??
