Don't limit yourself if you have a ring size that doesn't work with showing an even pattern. I would use a solid color on the ring that faces the palm of your hand so the decorated part shows up top. Lovely rings!

I am at a loss here. How can it not knot? You come out of the bead, bring the thread up through the ring of beads and back through the looped thread...seems like that's knot. Hmm. I must practice this tomorrow; lying in bed watching at 1a.m. and I just ain't gettin' it. LOL! Thanks for the great tutorial and pattern explanation!
