Hello from a UK home brewer. I must say, I'm a precision engineer (Toolmaker) by trade, and I'm mighty impressed with not only the quality of the system, but also the ingenuity. You seem to have thought of, and come up with an answer for everything. Well done on producing a top quality product...... if I had the room, I'd be seriously thinking about getting one shipped over.

Amazing, thank you for putting this video out. I am a home distiller but planning on making the switch to home brewing. I've been absorbing every video and article I can before I commit to making my first beer. I will be doing my first beer on my Clawhammer BIAB system, but will be looking to expand I'm sure if all goes as planned. I really liked the system you showed here.

this video is great! Maybe it's the clear, detailed instructions they're giving but this seems easier to operate than the Brewha (BAIC) system!

Very nice system, and great video explaining the system... basically an industrial grade better version of the Blichman system that's been around forever... I love this... but... IMO the Brewha system is more cost effective giving you more bang for your buck.. I wish this system was less expensive.... that being said, I appreciate the fact this is mostly produced in USA and the owner seems like a good guy.... difficult decision lol...

All those watts. Here in CA. Pge will charge me a fortune for electricity out here. But I def want a spike system. These are so easy! It's all automatic!
@SpikeBrewing2 жыл бұрын
Looks like rates are about $.33/kWh in CA. That's about 2.5x what we pay in WI. However that means your brew day on a Nano goes from about $3 to $7.50. Not really a fortune ;)

@SpikeBrewing3 жыл бұрын
You can typically use a charcoal filter with tap water. Otherwise reverse osmosis systems are popular as well.

@SpikeBrewing3 жыл бұрын
Our barbs are oversized and designed so no additional bulky hose clamps are needed
@thebarleymen86363 жыл бұрын
@@SpikeBrewing appreciate the reply, however, a dollar per clamp is good insurance, and I wouldn't call a hose clamp "bulky" (this isn't one of those infomercials where they make extreme issues out of nothing). The main reason for oversized barbs is for high flow. All of my barbs are oversized and I've had leaks. It happens and it's not fool proof. But, if you've tested these beyond any psi a brewer would see, then more power to you :) Don't get me wrong, love your stuff :) I've been a keen observer since your humble beginning homebrewtalk days
