Well, that’s awesome!! Any way we can get more wear out of a wig these days with the prices becoming so astronomical is a great way, in my opinion. I’ve got a couple good candidates for experimentation. Thank you for the tip! 😊❤️

1.) Get a Dyson Airwrap! Not only does it save my natural hair, I can use it on Natural Hair, Heat Friendly and Non-Heat Friendly fibers. I don’t use a lot of products, because they bog down the wig and require washing at a more frequent rate. I have done the dip method for resetting curl patterns with perm roads. If I want it straight, I dip and get out my Dyson and blow dry on the cool setting. If I want body, I use my round brush, loose curls, the curling rods on my Dyson, and I just bought the Dyson straightener and it’s done work MF’ers for my Raquel Welch fibers. I don’t use a bunch but f product. I use JR HD fiber spray and my Dyson. It looks brand new and feels brand new. I also use a silicone spray off of Amazon, and wash and conditioner spray from Amazon. I’ve use JR, and Tress Allure products too. I mix up a spray bottle of half-3/4 water and my conditioner or detangle spray for regular maintenance. Works great. Get a steamer too. Those chemicals need to penetrate the fabric like oil needs to penetrate our hair by heat. I also cut my fibers or give it a trim after a lot of wear. You need extremely sharp fabric scissors, not hair sheers, as synthetic fibers dull hair sheers extremely quickly. Get a Crea-Clip, it’s a tool with a balancer or level so you can see that your lined up level. If your hair is raising or you want to turn a blonde wig red, rit synthetic hair dye is your best friend! Make sure you have gasoline and got to be to spray on the lace to stop discoloration. As for knots, there are scar strips that you can put on your hair line that make the scalp look normal. If your POC, you can dye the lace for an exact match. You can also see in a fake scalp using silk. Look on Etsy for wig making materials. You can even learn how to ventilate a hair line in time. Then you could add more colored strands to hide those knots. They also make a not eraser too.

Have you considered thinning her out a bit? I’ve never thinned one of my Kendalls, but I have thinned a couple other synthetic wigs with thinning shears that I bought at my local Walmart. I watched a few videos and was able to reduce some of the bulk successfully. Just an idea. Thank you so much for watching. ❤️

I’m sorry you experienced that. I’ve learned it’s so important to buy from companies that offer returns. When I was first starting out buying wigs, I bought what was advertised as “human hair.” Oh my gosh it was the worst costume synthetic wig I had ever seen. Same issue- no return or exchange. I also threw it away. So frustrating!

I am a 21.25” circumference and I have to move the adjusters in on a Henry Margu wig. I can tell you that Kendall seems to have a great deal of stretch in her, as the sides and back are open wefted. However, I honestly can’t speak from personal experience as to how HM fits a 22.5” circumference. I do believe that Eryn from Real Fun With Wigs/Patty’s Pearls has a head circumference of 22” and has a review for Kendall on KZfaq that might be helpful for you in terms of sizing information. 😊

To be honest, I’ve never purchased or owned a Hairalicious wig before, but I’ve admired many of their pieces. I think the main reason I don’t own one is because they rarely had the style or size I wanted in stock. I would sign up to be notified when available, but the timing to purchase never seemed right. You might want to join a Facebook group such as Hairloss Sisters- the OG. There are many, many members on that support group who exclusively wear HH wigs and I’m confident someone would be able to offer you honest insight about that company. 💕 PS I just did a quick search in that FB group and lots of members have posted about Hairalicious. 💕

I have purchased from them and I love the wig. The only thing I had to learn how to wear wigs with lace ear to ear But the lace and hairline is the best I’ve seen so far. The hair is amazing and dries with a slight wave which I love. I’ve been very happy with mine. Hope this helps.

I do wish Henry Margu made more styles available in a petite cap size. ☹️

You can remove weft(s) to make the cap smaller. It’s not that difficult, and there are KZfaq videos on how to do it. I have a petite head plus am a very fair natural blonde, but so few styles come in petite sizes with unrooted light cool blonde colors. I’ve learned to do lots of tweaks to wigs’ color, size, density, etc. to make them work for me. Ellen Wille runs small, but she no longer has unrooted blonde colors. Belle Tress has great unrooted blonde colors, but they just discontinued all of them! 😢
