Baba budan is the name of the person who had brought coffee seeds from the middle east and he planted them in that mountain, which is the birth place of coffee in India and chickmanglore became famous for it's coffee.

Bababudan was a Sufi saint who bought coffee beans to India from Ethiopia for the first time and grew it in the those hills and hence the hills were named after his name as bababudangiri 😀

Been sitting in punjab and doing WFH since march 2020, It was so nice to hear the kannada language :D, i know its weird though. And i went to the exact place in september 2019. It was just other worldly. Baba Budangiri peak was a mesmerizing Experience. The coffee they serve at local shops can easily rival some of the fancy names out there.

I still remember the first time I saw mullayangiri , it was fkn piece of beauty of freaking nature . When i saw it i knew i had to climb it no matter what!! . Even though it was in lockdown time we made many things to get there and it was freaking worth itt!
