I feel like not enough people are realizing how hard this very episode was for Blitz too. 11:21 He stepped up for Moxxie and Millie but not one of the three actually tried to defend him. Fizz instigates and Verosika jumps in with a pitchfork. M&M was speechless/quiet, Blitz felt like Stolas was ashamed to be seen with him--which makes Blitz feel even more undeserving of affection, and add to that, maybe, the guilt of inviting Stolas there only to be publicly shamed along with him.

Fun Fact: When Stolas was talking to Blitz, he says he'll _"be ready at twenty!"_ and it takes **EXACTLY** 20 seconds of the episode's runtime for Stolas to suit up, get his space owl makeup done, open the portal, and physically enter the Lust Ring. It's just a neat little detail I'd like to point out

Painnnnnn. We finally get to see how stolas actually feels about blitz. How fast he went from being sad/lonely to excited when blitzy called. And when he got so dressed up and mentioned that this was their first real date 💔💔💔 poor blitz who is so scared of pursuing a real relationship with stolas in fear of his past repeating itself

Notice how when Stolas asks Blitzo if he wants to hang out more, Blitzo doesn’t directly reject him. He instead just tells Stolas to not act like what they have isn’t purely transactional. Not what he personally wants

I feel that many people, while they say that it is heartbreaking to see all this happening, as someone who aspires to be a storywriter myself, it doesn't take that much foresight and intellect to see that Viv and the crew will inevitably have things work out for Blitzo and Stolas because they set this episode up the way they did. They made it specifically that Moxxie and Millie had an outing to this place where they introduced Asmodeus, both as a character and as a plot device to hint at the conflict of the relationship of Blitzo and Stolas coming to a head. And using retrospective knowledge, knowing that Asmodeus has the legal authority and ability to travel to and from the living world, it's very easy to see that either A, Viv and the crew (I don't know the other people's names I'm sorry for any perceived disrespect) have Blitzo and Stolas eventually work out their issues and become a couple akin to how Moxxie and Millie are, or B, they'll have the conflict only deepen and as a result, have a somewhat perfect mirroring of Blitzo and Stolas, and Ozzie and Fizz, because using details picked up from each of the scenes, Fizzaroli and Blitzo, from my observations of having rewatched the show 26 times and counting, seem to always mirror one another. Starting from the Circus Fire, Fizzaroli was more badly wounded than Blitzo, but in the end, Fizz was more successful, and Blitzo has to work harder than Fizz does, Fizz has a better relationship with Asmodeus than Blitzo does with Stolas, regardless of the fact that both Fizz and Ozzie are thirsty, lustful demons while Blitzo and Stolas, both of them being Thirsty and Lustful demons, their relationship as of late is *only* the sexual encounters that they have, and as a result, you have a near perfect mirror between these two couples. While the other option, very easily accessible, it also just goes to show that the Pareto Principle, no matter the medium, no matter the type, the Pareto Principle basically dominates anything and everything, even when it comes to storytelling, because 20% of your story has caught the attention of the views, but nearly 80% of it is seen by the loyal viewers.

hi, i don’t know if anyone will care but i’ll say it anyway. in august 2023 i was really bad because of a situation that i had with someone i liked. that month was really hard for me, hard to the point where i stopped eating for several days and had a big weight on my chest during each. i couldn’t sleep correctly either. the situation i was in reminded me of the one that blitzø and stolas were in, and i remembered that the soundtrack at the end of episode 7 was really catchy, really calm and nice to hear. so every night that i couldn’t sleep i used to put this soundtrack just to fall asleep. it really helped. and now that i listen to it again, im kinda happy this was here, it really helped. i don’t know who i need to thank so i’ll just thank Vivienne Medrano and SpindleHorse. thanks for creating this soundtrack that helped me through so much and thanks for making me feel better, even for a little amount of time. Helluva Boss will always have a big place in my heart. i love you all ❤

One beautiful detail: Blitz constantly wears -what appears to be- his mothers brooch. He wears it normally in every episode, but In this episode during the night out it's his belt buckle. That red skull means a lot to this imp.

I love everything about this episode, Moxxie and Millie relationship, Millie being a badass, Asmodeus and Fizzy leving out small hints of their relationship, Stolas feeling happy for once, even if it was not what he expected and ended up bad. Even Verosika addition was excellent. Hell even Blitz remembered to tell Asmodeus and Fizzy they are hypocrites (on the Mammon episode) because of what they did to Moxxie and Millie here.

I just realised something after rewatching this episode for the tenth time. Blitzo isn't saying he doesn't want more from Stolas... Which I misunderstood from my first few watchings. His exact words "don't act like what we have is anything more than you wanting me to fuck you". At first I thought he was saying that their relationship is nothing more than sex, but in truth he's saying "I know you don't want more from me because who could ever love me". He can't see Stolas' advance as anything more than him wanting sex. He think Stolas invited him to stay because he wanted it to end in bed. While Stolas genuinely wanted to spend time with Blitzo... Makes it all the more tragic

I love how there's books on Blitzø's seat because he's so short🤣🤣🤣

Stolas never had a date with someone he likes, that explains everything about his nervous attitude. Also, it's like Fizz says later "no one puts that much effort for a cheap fuck", a fancy rich guy who can make portals go anywhere endures a ride on a dirty van where he barely fits.... It's quite obvious he's sincere, but I understand Blitzø, Sotlas has made derogatory comments about imps and he's super condescending in his way of talking to him. Both are too immerse in their own feelings here, they need to put themselves into each other shoes, which seems it's already happening with Stolas in Just Look My Way. Now they need to communicate openly what they're thinking. I'm also confused with some comments from fans who consider the romantic story as loosing track of the original plot... I mean, since chapter 2 Stolas start to develop his story and all his interactions with Blitzø are consistent with what happens later. This always was the main love story.

God stolas always sounds so genuinely happy whenever he’s around blitz. His mood takes a complete 180 when blitz asks him out and his day is already so much better. To me, he’s always been portrayed as a power figure who does love blitz but still has this demeanor of “superiority” you could say. But this opening sequence and Stolas’s scrambling for the phone really humanize him for me and makes him feel less like a stiff character. This show is masterful in character portrayal. You don’t get art like this from corporations anymore

Don't overlook the clapping the audience gives mox and mills, thats honest appreciation of thier soft hearted display.

I kind of felt bad for stolas because he was so excited to hang out with Blitz and blitz was just rejecting him the whole time to spy on Millie and Moxie then blitz got mad at stolas because he covered his face when he was being called out in front of me entire pub by the sin of lust

It breaks my heart how exited Stolas was. It was implied before that he has some romantic feelings for Blitzø, but here they are much more appereant. He destroyed his marriage, compromised his relationship vith Octavia, his reputation. At first it really was just to get himself off, but he later started to grow conflicting feelings. This was implied in Loo Loo Land when he speaks with Octavia, but here you can really see it. He really thought Blitzø was starting to like him back. He dressed real fancy, actually tried to talk to him and trying to get his attention, and treated him with respect. If you pay attention, during the whole date he never calls him "Blitzy", repsecting that he doesn't like it. It was so easy for Stolas to give him a pet name, giving how he is a prince AND higher demon rank in general. But he doesn't here. He actually treated him like an equal for once. Just to be ignored for half of the date by the person he likes. That truly stings. And when they do talk, it's only small talk. Blitzø didn't even answer his more serious question. Then everything goes to shit. He is publicly shamed, people laugh at him, all the while Fizz and Veronika make fun of his love interest. He really seems sad for Blitzø. They leave, but they do in Blitzø's car. They could've used a portal, but Stolas preferred to drive in a dirty, out of shape and small car for his size. And he tried to connect with him again. Only to be said to him: "I don't want to have sex with you. I'm only your plaything, and I'm not up for it tonight." I don't think Stolas had sex in mind this whole night. He only wanted to spend time with him, maybe know him a little better, connect more. After all, he's destroying his life for him. His feelings are not reciprocated. He screwed up. He didin't show his feelings in a manner that Blitzø could recognize. He thought he was during sex, turns out that's not how you do it. And when he tries to connect differently, he's told to basically go fuck himself. He failed at showing his feelings for him. A prince, dating a low-class, broke and otherwise irrelevant imp for Hell's standards. It should be easy for a high class such as himself to impress an imp, turns out it's not. That's probably why Stolas likes him. But the little imp doesn't lime him back.

I like what Blitz had reestablished during the Osmodius song is his feeling of being used to satiate lust, while it looks like what Stolas took away was Moxie and Millies part of the song- actual compassionate love.

One thing to note...Blitz is essentially blaming himself for his mother's death and has been beating himself up severely ever since. He can't let go of that guilt and cause of that he pushes everyone away

This episode honestly hits you like a truck. I really can’t wait to learn more about Blitzo’s backstory and I hope him and Stolas will talk things out

I wasn’t expecting this. I thought Stolas was going to get mad at Blitzo for taking him just to spy on Moxie and Millie, but he just wanted to make sure Blitz was ok and had a good time. I loved it and that was a great subversion of my expectations!

Monarchy is weird, he wasn’t in love with a demon who speaks royalty, but still adores his daughter more than anything. He realized what love is, even though Blitz is an Imp. I see he still feels guilty for the affair, but I know it’s.. way more complicated than that.

Stolas getting ready is probably the most adorable thing I've witnessed this year. Of course only second to my dog at home.

Stolas needs to be protected at all costs. He's too damn precious, wanting to be loved back and rejected at every turn, watching him not even be the focus of Blitzo's attention and realizing he doesn't care is heartbreaking

Can I point out how much I love that Blitz stood up for Moxxie, even if it was in a weird way. Blitz hid the moment he saw Fizz, not wanting to be seen. But when he got up to defend Moxxie it put all attention on him, making himself a target.

Ozzie and Fizz: “Love isn’t allowed here!” Also Ozzie and Fizz: *Lovingly caresses and holds each other, showing genuine sadness when the other is hurt, and making seductive comments towards each other.*

Poor Stolas.. the disbelief in his voice when Blitz wanted to take him out, and how hard Stolas tried to make the “date” good.

I think I know why Stolas was so excited when Blitzø asked him out on a date. Look at the castle, all the plants are dying, it's dark and quiet , and Stolas is eating cereal instead of a proper meal. It's clear that his wife and Octavia left him, all because he was with Blitzø. He needs this to work out, he needs this relationship with Blitzø to be worth it.

When asmodeus said "he sold his life for a thrust" stolas had actually covered his face in embarrassment and bilzo saw that and he felt ashamed and shocked when stolas did that so he got mad in order to hide his feelings
