Wonderful interview Sister, with Henry Fambrough; very informative and pleasant. The setting and nature of the interview is informal, because it is between 2 friends.

Diane, I just wanted to say that I’m hoping that the Spinners get inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. I know they are nominees for 2023, and I’m so excited for them. I voted for them and I think this time around they will be inducted! It would be such an honor for Henry and CJ and John to appear there and accept on behalf of Billy, Bobby, Pervis, and Philippe!

Very nice interview, so glad this lady videotaped this interview as it gives us an insight into the history of this great group. Kudos to Henry Fambrough and this sister who provided the opportunity for him to share.

I just love the Spinners. They were at Starlake Amphitheater in the Pittsburgh area in the mid 1990s. I couldn’t make it to the show. Next time they are in Pittsburgh, I’ll be going to see them, I love the song Rubberband Man!😁

Henry Fambrough, the last original surviving original member of the Michigan-based R&B group the Spinners, died of natural causes on Feb. 7. 2024. He was 85. Fambrough died in his home in Virginia after spending a month in hospice care, the Spinners’ spokesperson Tanisha Jackson told the Detroit Free-Press. Fambrough’s final public appearance took place just over two months ago for the Spinners’ Rock Hall induction ceremony in November. He spent seven decades with the Spinners and retired from the group in early 2023. There are no more original Spinners and with the passing of Abdul 'Duke' Fakir of the Four tops it also marked the end of an era - all four original founding members of The Four Tops are no longer with us.

Another interview with Henry that is a blown opportunity to finally learn from the man himself - is that his speeded up vocal on Games People Play (as Thom Bell claims) or the dubbed-in voice of one of the "Sigma Sweethearts"? Ugh!

Henry does interviews very well, as demonstrated in many KZfaq clips. She’s talking way too much. All of the Spinners were very articulate & interviewed well.

The interviewer talks way too much about herself.

Which is the sign of a less than professional interviewer.

Ma'am, please let the man speak without "monitoring" or responding to every syllable.
