This song was written by singer writer Andrea Martin, who was only paid $300 to write and sing sample this track before it got to Robin S. let’s give Andrea Martin her flowers as she just recently passed away. RIP AM 💜😇💓

I recently lost my mum, but this song will always remind me of her. When it came out I went and bought the 12” vinyl and put it on straight away when I got home. When it had finished playing my mum shouted out from upstairs, “Mike, put that one on again, and turn it up!” RIP mum, I hope that you’re dancing around in heaven to tracks like this.

Love this tune. Early 90’s house was like a second disco era for me. I’d go out to clubs and dance for hours. I’m older now so the body doesn’t move like it did back then. But, the music still lives.

Robin S did not originally make and sing this song, it was Andrea Martin who made a demo two years prior and they turned it into a single without her knowledge and they used Robin S because they felt that Andrea did not have the right look.

This has got to be best house track of all times for the following reason: It actually has a text that makes sense, is not annoying, sung very well and did not clear the dance floor in clubs that mainly played eurodance at the time. Most house tracks would immediately cause that in the clubs that I am referring to.
