I agree, although I wish thy had more helping hands to speed up a little bit

they do a very good job it just takes far too long. They need more people working on it, the game should already be finished with how long they have been working on it. Other games that are like it and fairly new compared are already past them in some things, sure they are nowhere near the quality but that are further and more playable.

I ask only because many only claim "More Dino's" or BoB with " at least the mechanics are there." No this isn't an argument piece I want your actual views. It's healthy to have a good conversation about game development amongst similar games.

@@Frostbyte115 one way PoT has pushed past is visually it looks good, everything looks crisp in comparison to Evrima like sometimes Evrima looks grainy (I just bought a top of the line PC after my last one burnt out) PoT is also on Mobile, Console and PC and it's Cross-Platform so you can play with anyone no barriers. Obviously there are far more dinos but not only that they even allow modding so on top of the playable dinos that PoT has officially, there are community modded dinos that are actually pretty high quality where some seem just as well made as the official dinos. The devs also listen to player feedback and will add things if a lot of people want it added. I for example asked for them to allow as many playable slots as how many official dinos that were out and after maybe a month it was added in and I could make 1 of each official dino on each server if I wanted. There are plenty of areas where they could improve tho like combat is good...but there are mechanics that I wish they had that Evrima already has like raptors being able to latch onto prey to attack or deino's being able to grab things and pull them under water to drown, or small dinos being 1 tapped like how a carno can bite a hipsy once and it's in its mouth dead. BoB the only thing I can remember that I liked honestly was it has good weather/natural disaster type stuff....other than that it's pretty bad, visually I felt like I was playing on like a PS2.

Don't care, until Ceratosaurus is added I doubt anyone is gonna be interested. It's a real hard miss that they're so focused on adding dinos nobody wants to play, since they'll suck.

@@ReinertZerker yeah I think the same thing too. Adding troodon will be fun for 5 minutes and then it'll do jack shit xD. When they add "actual" playables I think the game will be popular again. Hopefully we see a few dinos this year, any less than 3 is gonna result in huge uproar I reckon

@@notspoopyghost1334 i mean large dinosaurs. dont get me wrong troodon can sound fun but realistically barley anyone will play it after the hype is dead and when theres other creatures. When i say large i mean utah size and above not large teir dinos. Sure some will love troodon and beipi and whatnot but they should focus on bigger dinosaurs like cerato, bary dibble etc... small dinos wont make a big impact is all im saying. troodon could be an exception tho

@@pleasantdashi7112 The Spinosaurus is Geneticly modified to increase the life expectancy of the embryo. As a result of the modifications it evolved into the JP3 Spino. Same could be in The Isle equals it is potentially realistic since it is known that we dont have many skeletons or other DNA samples of Spinos equals more modification needed and on the other hand the Trex didnt had to be modified as mutch as the spino since we have a lot of Data about Trex (a lot more than on Spino). So this means the Spino burrowed a lot of other DNA from i guess Rex, Giga, frogs and other animals to fill up the missing parts of the Spinos missing DNA strand. All these changes makes it result to look visually different compared to the Spinos ancestors

Idk I think it looks beautiful and has even more weight to it. Maybe give the young feathers that fall off? Maybe customized jaws from the three subspecies irl.

@@magnarcreed3801 I think you need to look more at 3D models & colouring to understand what I’m saying here. The t-Rex has no depth, and the reflection is not natural comparing to all other models. All tho I respect your opinions thanks for sharing ☕️

The Tyrannosaurus had absolutely no chance of sporting feathers, it’s too large and the dinosaur would overheat and die, at most you’d get a lil bit of peach fuzz as seen in Prehistoric Planet.

Yeah exactly, it's not exactly something to make it fearsome too. At most Carno's will just drive by slam it or bite it and Utahs will just run circles around it for days. I always thought it was going to be a fearsome corpse stealer, but honestly I feel like it's going to be outclassed by the already established dinosaurs. I'd of rather they gave it a Lethal hold, like if it gets you, it just deals massive damage, making people think twice about letting it get too close because escaping it would be harder than avoiding it. I honestly think Cerato is going to be so underwhelming, since it's low HP and low damage, and it's slow. The only benefit it had in Legacy is obsolete in Evrima with alt biting. So we'll see, maybe I'm wrong and it'll be a force. But at this point my hopes are low for this game entirely.

Right. I wouldn’t have minded if they’d used a different explanation or something but the bacteria Komodo thing is well known to be false now. Could maybe vomit rotten food at players still causing them to vomit or take severe damage?

@@ReinertZerker Yea a lethal hold would help to counter Carno's current strategy to role play a truck that kills an Isekai protagonist. Would force carno to be wary about Cerato's strong bite by having to get around the back or just avoid potential harm.

Legacy is part 1 of the game its done evirma is the part2 they will fucus on 2

If the infection causes vomiting the others will loose stam and nutrients. However I also am annoyed because they brought up the myth. How about vomiting into their own mouths and then biting? Corpse stealers and eaters usually have very strong bacteria that can melt metal. Then bite and infect them.

Competely agree. Cerato needs a powerful attack to fend off an even bully Carno's from their kills. Without it then the sickness is just a minor nuissance to deal with after a fight

Me personally want to play as my favorite dino, I understand what your saying but with some balancing like his speed and maybe clumsiness of fulling could make it good and far 🤷🏽‍♂️

@@ReinertZerker i just tried to be optimistic mixed with a slight note of realistic. Nothing to again jump on the game and me to say it takes way too long to update which I dont deny and that I am a fool for believing that could work

@@SirSilk77 Well be a little more realistic, Apex is last on their agenda's as we've barely gone through most of the mid tiers. With an expectation of 0-2 per year, I'd say expect trodon and beipi this year, maybe cerato and gali next year and then herra and diablo after that. 4 years later, it might be a possibility but even that's a stretch for apex. They still have bary, allo, alberto and acro to keep us busy for many more years to come, which is only the carnivores half. We'll be getting more herbi's in time too, to balance the roaster, so I really doubt we'll even see trex in less than 5 years, hell maybe even less than 10. So saying maybe by the end of this year is just a huge mistake dude. I seriously doubt this game will exist for another 10 years with fresh players, it's old as it is and they got nothing to show for the time spent funding their project. I'm willing to bet in 10 years we'll see another dinosaur game that surpasses this one emerge and everyone will abandon The Isle entirely.
