Why the driving band falling out from motor when i spin Can this solve that problem?

The spinolution wheels need oillite bushings holding the bobbin shaft instead of bearings. I say this because if the bobbin shaft has drag due to the bearings lubrication it will cause the flyer to uptake thread even if the bobbin shaft adjuster is completely off. You want the bobbin shaft to freely move and spin without any drag and then use the adjuster to tune the uptake. This is most important for those that spin very thin thread like I do. I just replaced the two bobbin bearings and still have a bearing drag issue. It is not as bad as it was when I picked up the wheel and there was no gunk built up on the shaft or behind things. I do however need to know where the flat washer and wave washer go. The way I have it now it is reasonable but if I put on the wave washer the bobbin shaft is real tight. Nothing I do has made that better except to remove the wave washer. My wheel is the Spinolution Bee Travel Wheel from 2009 before they used the locking nut and before they used magnets on the flyer. I have video. Oil lite bushings will allow super smooth operation. If you don't have your tensioner on and you have thread to spin you don't want it to uptake any thread with the adjuster OFF. Rrrrrr. Frustrating.

You do realize you have an older bee, the " golden whorl" design upgrade across the line about 6 years ago made the wheel spin way more freely.

@@SpryWhimsy I do know the wheel is an older model but I would have expected it to spin freely even if it's an older model wheel. I would not have known that older models would have stiffer turning bobbins. Im going to 3d print up a dummy bearing and have a bronze bushing pressed in and replace those bearings to see if my idea works to improve this older machine. If it does then others can keep their old ones and put them back into use if they retired them because they became difficult to use. I like the engineering of the wheel but that bobbin thing is truly an issue. No clue how well the newer ones would be compared to this one. But I know the bobbins or flyers need to spin freely and not be bound up. Even a little makes a huge difference for fine thread making.

I’m also having too much takeup with the block fully off the tension. I have the queen bee with the golden whorle. I’m fairly new spinner and I purchased used. There is no dealers near me. I’m not sure what to do. I pull the wheel over trying to pull the thread back just to test the uptake.
