Joseph Anderson I wish like the SF store, Apple would have gone with the Otis voice. I’m surprised with the Series 7 fixtures and chimes they went with rather than custom myself. Series 5 lantern outside as well.

Always never enough - instead of INSPIRING like these creative efforts are intended to do, naysayers always suppose the cynical side of things and don't aspire to anything more than to criticize the creative work of others. Sad.

if always enough,, if no more demands for more and better from customers,,, u will not have iPhone x today ... nor we will see this amazing Apple park today,, maybe we will be looking at just anther boring HQ building. its here because Steve jobs wants Apple to be better, wants to be ahead ..like that world biggest carbon fiber roof.. like this corkscrew elevator inside the S.J theater,, or go back 10 yrs, the Ipod, 1st Iphone , App store, itune, Apple stores around the world, all of these was ahead of the time when it came to market, and then market follow,, dont think u will find any one challange any of those been innovator or leader,,,etc, but when they call toady's X is future of the smart phone ,, ? u r right , its sad,, because Steve is not with us any more. so,, do you want iPhone 11 to be better, to offer you more functions next year,, ? or just stay like X , because its enough ?

Don't worry - Apple is ALWAYS trying to advance the best ideas while staying within their primary goal for the highest quality. They may make goofs along the way but its not because they are not trying. Feedback from the field is very useful to them - that's why they have Beta programs - and believe it or not they DO incorporate the feedback from their Apple users. Yes, it is sad that Steve Jobs is not here anymore but I do believe his spirit lives on in the way the company is being run and in the way they innovate. There are a HUGE amount of constraints both technical and otherwise when designing state of the art stuff that the majority of us can use without a degree in physics and or IT. I'm also just saying that the X JUST came out - give it and APPLE a bit of breathing space to improve things as they ALWAYS do!

David Bee I agree with this comment. They have always put out high quality products. Being first to things is always a good thing! Features are rushed instead of being thought out. Apple has always been king at that

Its for tourists who want to show to their friends and family. All apple stores have glass lifts cause glass is modern and modern means future.
