Looks decent. I am waiting for Party City version since it has more realistic movement and look. Spirits is probably the 2nd best Leatherface followed by Lowes.

Fun fact you all remember the 2006 leatherface it was selling for $299 not on sale in 2006 had moving chainsaw, articulate motion and was 6 foot tall adjusted for inflation would be $479 in todays money which is close to what this prop costs so you get less for more from spirit anymore it’s just sad what happened to store animatronics

I heard a rumor gemmys audio is actually audio from a kill scene from 2003 TCM movie, specifically where the guy in glasses is hung on this chandelier and has his nuts chainsawed. Supposedly... That's the audio for lowes one

I read that theres an output to hook the sound up to an external speaker. That would help with the volume issue. Mine comes in this week. Guess I'll know for sure then.🎃 UPDATE: Mine got here today and it does have an audio output. I haven't tried it out yet, but maybe that will help.

Great review as always GMHauts but I gotta say I'm a bit disappointed with the animatronic. The body structure on the shoulder and arm look off. I was looking forward to it but now I'll have to wait to see the party city version before I make my decision to buy one or just build my own lifesize leatherface prop.

I'm afraid party citys arms will break flinging up the saw. Also why's Leatherface vibrate? Why not have his saw vibrate? It's like he's exaggeratingly shaking with rage before he lifts his arms

The party city one just has 1 movment and he looks very stiff and looks pretty skinny while the spirit Leatherface is a lot more bigger and more movie accurate

I mean. It’s horrible. Absolutely awful. I get that it may be the better one coming out this year, but that doesn’t make it a good item. From what I’ve seen, all 2 or 3 of the ones being released this year are awful. I can however appreciate the box design.

This one would last a long time because of the animation but party city will probably break in one day because the animation is so awkward like he throws the chainsaw up but the chainsaw does not move?Plus you could get the spirit one for cheaper than party city’s with the coupon.This leather face will last you a long time.

Ty for vid. I was depressed and got an email saying new robot, Leatherface, and was surprised bc I thought he was coming soon. Come to findo it, I could buy him!! So at 2:30 in the morning. Used coupon 😈 So hey, whaddya think his hat size is bud? Im thinking ol leather needs a nice slick white cowboy hat to rock that suit
