i get chills when he says "i remember the sun and the sky calling my name in a time when we ran free." and the music in the trailer is so awesome. gosh i love this movie!

This is one of my all time favorite animated films, I remember being on vacation memorial day weekend, and taking a night out to see this, in the middle of the film the projector burnt out. Thankfully it got fixed, and and we went back into finish this amazing film, and I'm glad it did. Everything works the films narrative, how the team at dreamworks managed to tell a story without having the animals talk (and yet soooo much is said without them speaking), the animation, and best of all Bryan Adams and Hans zimmer at the music department. Those two are the glue that holds all these together, Hans zimmer score is beautiful and Bryans singing really in no other words amazing. And this teaser looking back at it now, really gives us a glimpse of the heart this film has that I feel other animated films are lacking.

I can´t believe it´s been 10 years since this movie...i was 8 then and now i´m 18- i´ve grown up..am an adult now..but there was never a Movie for me like Spirit that kept with me so long and even keeps me bawling my eyes out everytime i see it because of the beauty.."i´ll never forget that boy"

No matter how many times I see this trailer/movie my heart always swells when Spirit says "In a time when we ran free" and his herd runs past. By the time he says "our hoofbeats were many, but our hearts beat as one," I'm almost in tears. I really wish they'd kept that part in the movie!

This movie was a great one, I never get tired of watching it. It was a combination of both computer and hand drawn stuff, but so well done.

The first time I saw this trailer was in the theatre before Harry Potter 1, and I knew as soon as the narrator started talking it would be about mustangs and I started to cry! I have a mustang so it's a special movie for me. Thanks for posting.

This is the most legitimate animated movie preview ever. An eagle that takes you on an adventure through the Grand Canyon, Colorado River, some forest, some rapids, and then brings you to a herd of wild horses - that's a sight I wish I could see in real life. BTW I was 11 and I saw this on Shrek haha

This movie is historically accurate. Horses were introduced in the 1600's in North America by the Spanish. This movie was in the time period of 1800.

Its funny when I was little I really thought that the voice was Spirits voice, or something. Now that I watch more movies and know who Matt Damon is, it sorta ruins it for me...but its still a great movie and will always be one of my favorites

This trailer was released in 2001, it says so at the end of the trailer itself right below "Coming to Theaters" and its been out on DVD and Video since November 2002.

This movie is historically accurate, horses were introduced in the 1600 and the film takes place in 1800, but you would also have to take in the account of the horses point of view, to him there was no begining or end, even though horses were re-introduced to north america, the land was always there, so it must account for some of the calms of historical in-accuracies, meaning the horses felt they had always been around and being in north america didn't change anything, the land was just land

The film is accurate historically, but you have to take in the time periods, the film takes place in the 1800, horses were there since the 1600, they were re-introduced, remember the land was ageless to them, they felt they belong, even if they were across the ocean still to this day, the land they walk on is home to them, and even is they were re-introduced, home is home

Tryouts from Rudy Sountrack. I dont like how they left out the "I remember the sound and the feeling of running together. The hoofbeats were many, but our hearts beat as one." Those were very nice lines. And I like this music better than in the actual film.

The person never said this was for the second Spirit movie. This video is called "Spirit Stallion of the Cimarron trailer 2" which means its the second trailer for the movie- hence being called trailer 2 and not Spirit 2 trailer. Duh.

Yep , Disney used to be good...making good movies like Mulan, Pochahontas, etc etc. I'm surprised that Disney didn't try to keep the better movies alive. Now don't get me wrong Brave wasn't too bad but it isn't a contest between that and movies like this.

I'd like to believe that there is, except that often the second movie destroys the first... Mulan 2 wasn't that bad, and Toy Story's later movies were good, but apart from that the next movies are all terrible. I just hope that if there is a second Spirit, it does the first movie justice,
