I Woke up to my sister crying and telling me that Neyi Zumi has just passed on. I had wept for this man for 2 weeks to my sister- that the man who was sent to heal me is sick..His death is just that personal to us. I had made a vow that this man was somehow going to sing at my wedding or any special milestone In my life, at one point💔.. But many are our plans, wishes and thoughts but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails. To know everything is to be God. But what I know for sure, The heavens are singing. Your music and ministry saved my life, healed me and was my clutch when I was in an endless pit of darkness. I literally took your music as my medicine side by side with prayer. Every second and continue to till this very day. I am forever indebted to your ministry Neyi Zumi. Rest in Eternal Peace YOU Mighty Man of Valor! 🙏🏽

Just like you sis; am Ugandan and for some reason, his music has always spoken straight to my heart. This is one of the first songs that introduced me to SA gospel. I never speak any of the SA languages but I always find myself singing to this kind of music. This specific song is one of the first songs I learned even without knowing it's meaning. My heart is so broken..it's so unbelievable!! It's so funny how a person you ain't related to can cause such a huge impact on your life... Rest in power Neyi Zimu!! All the way from Ghana, West Africa precisely and just heard about the death of our beloved PS Neyi.. and I said God why taken him so early like this? 😭😭😭😭 And just felt in my spirit that to us He is dead but to God he is at rest.. I have come to realization that, there is nothing like strangers amongst we children of God but one body in Christ. I am in Ghana and I do not understand this song. I have been listening to this particular song since 2018. Any time I sing this song tears flow down my checks. Today I decided to see what the words mean. These words restored my connecting with God. I have a testimony but can not be shared here. I thank God for the restoration.

I heard this song in 2013 when I was doing my first degree. Even though I’m a Ghanaian and didn’t understand the language, I learned to sing this song and the meaning. I love this song so much that in 2022 I still listen to it. Rest in eternity Legend. Your memory is still fresh on our minds and hearts.

Best duet of all times, timeless. I think one reason besides the special annointing, is the fact that Pastor Neyi allowed the spirit to flow freely for the both of them. I also noticed Zaza and Omega also allow the back up singers the flow, that shows they were back up signers before so their empathy towards backing vocalists allows spiritual connection and ultimately the greatest worship songs are birthed 🙌👏🏽thank you giants for making space and yielding yourselves for in Christ we are all family.

My mom like this song a lot and during my brother's funeral( during the night vision that is "tebelelo" in setswana) she asked the family to sing that song. I didn't understand why she liked it so much by then but then I realised later that she wanted to say "God you love me so much even though I lost my son's, the first was just a natural death and the second was a car accident. I recall her saying " le ho sitoa haaka o ntshwarele". Neyi you blessed us and my mother was overjoyed to hear this song through you. Rest in eternal peace man of God.
