i have had 2 fereal mom cats bring their babies to my door..and come in, i welcomed them and they lived out their years with me..all got spayed and nurtered

I'm visiting a friend in far northernn California and 2 female cats showed up. One is Calico other is a big black cat. They belong to someone over a mile away. They won't go home. Long story short owner has trapped one (calico) and taken her miles away to hunt mice for a friend. Has not been able to catch a black one. She gave me her # I called her over 10 times when the cat showed up but she has excuses why she doesn't pick her up. Calico is her mom. This lady doesn't feed them so she's not happy with me. I'm going home in a month and really feel bad for this one left here. This lady rents a home from my friend so taking the cat home with me will cause issues. I just feel horrible. her name is Nova and her mom‘s name is Sugar Mama.
