You won't be disappointed by the Micro Fight. After using them for a year or so, I've ended up with a few of them. All of them are very well-made, and Spiritus' customer service is excellent.

Ah so that`s how everyone uses Velcro mag inserts without struggling for 30 minutes. I should have watched this video before going 1 digit IQ and trying to squeeze the insert in to my plate carrier... Anyways this video was really helpful. It`s sorta difficult understanding how chestrigs work just by looking at pictures online so i was finally able to figure out how this product worked...

I'm glad it helped. The Velcro is very, very frustrating otherwise; I was going to blow a shit, trying to shove them in there.

I had trouble getting rifle mags out smoothly the first few time i tried it with the harness. What i was doing when i pulled the first mag out was pulling at a slight angle and the curved part of the mag was catching .Its because the elastic is tight and the mags are so close together.You probably wont notice when run on a plate carrier because of the added weight. I didnt notice i was doing it until i concentrated on pulling the mag straight up and out. If your still having trouble you can add a kydex insert .I've seen a few people using them and they work well.

@thegunpenguin5 жыл бұрын
Thank you so much! The MK4 is so new, I haven't had a chance to take a class with it yet, but I would, without hesitation. The more I use it, the more this becomes my preferred chest rig. Right now I'm trying out some of the accessories to see if they'll stay as part of the rig, and I've added a holster to the front pouch. I love that the Micro Fight encourages that sort of training experimentation, and that would make it perfect for a weekend class, in my mind.

I got a loaded gear tactical chest rig off Amazon. I was very surprised by the quality of it for the price of 40 bucks. Thst is a cool chest rig though more compact than mine.
@thegunpenguin5 жыл бұрын
So much of that cheaper nylon stuff on Amazon is really well made. 10 years ago, I never would've guess what you'd be able to get for $40; it's totally nuts.
@magicd57805 жыл бұрын
@@thegunpenguin ya I was skeptical st first but said fuck it 40 bucks . It's a beast nice and smooth finish inside were the mags sit. Holds 6 ar mags and 6 pistol mags . And a bunch other pockets. Was that a spot of blood on your flipity flap?lol
@thegunpenguin5 жыл бұрын
@@magicd5780 I wish I could tell you it's blood! But I'm pretty sure it's red rug fuzz. Flip flaps pick up a lot of fuzz. I'd say that was $40 well spent. Are those Chinese or Indonesian?

@@thegunpenguin I actually never never looked lol and I cant find anywhere it says where its made. I'm sure in a sweat shop somehwere sadly lol. That was a good idea with the paper. I was looking into that similar set up but all the velcro was too intimidating lol.

Where did you buy the micro fiber mag inserts ? I bought 3 Kydex inserts and they don’t fit well in the rig ...
@thegunpenguin5 жыл бұрын
I bought them from Spiritus. I'm not aware of any of the kydex inserts working well in the Spiritus -- it's really sized for their inserts, and their inserts alone.

Does anybody know another Strap for this chest rig? Because the fat straps are sold out and for 50 bucks, it doesn't sound like a good deal. The same goes with the hip belt.
@thegunpenguin4 жыл бұрын
Good stuff costs money. Any strap with the right buckle size should work, in theory, but I'd go with the Spiritus stuff, personally. The quality is excellent, and the whole rig isn't particularly expensive.
