Well... we made it! It's Christmas Day, which marks the end of our Five Days of Christmas mini series. In today's video, we are simply doing a festive scoring session. If you have signed up to this event, you will receive the Cubase project, MIDI files, and audio from this project.

Honestly buying this BBC from spitfire has been one of the best buys I've made in a long time. its almost paid for itself already. only thing is the brass i find can't do the epic stuff so i use the Cinematic studio brass for that. The combo of the CSB and BBCSO is absolutely stunning.

My laptop had to be updated to BigSur, so all the installations of Cubase Pro. Had previously a free copy, could no longer find it, so I bought it. I really don't mind. This thing is a real gem. Would not do without it. And for what it offers....it dam cheap.....and 100% worthy...)))

And you have been the origin of my decision to buy the Komplete S61, much for the same reason: I love the shiny, colourful lights :) After watching this video, I'll go back to arranging the March of the Galdiators as a circus band version from a piano midi track.

Happy Christmas Guy and thanks for all that you do! The ostinato bit at the beginning reminded me or the theme to Emma (the 2009 series). I had to look and see if it was one of yours. It wasn't, but both pieces go in great directions.

Guy, first, I hope you had a great Christmas and head into a better year. Then, thank you for this (and everything else you share so freely), for sharing your talent and skills in such an entertaining manner. For the 'five days' you've given so generously, I will only be able to start with from now. This particular video is very instructive, showing pitfalls along the way. [Musically, for me, a bit over-laden; could I do better? Of course not, not even the first 8. But in the new year I start settling into subjects already purchased, so in 12 months I hope to be able to do something that 'works', but to come up with a fully-orchestrated several minutes starting from nothing more than a melodic fragment in such a short time while chatting and side-tracking? - come back in 10 years!]
