A lot of people who’ve never played any kind of organize sports really don’t have a clue how important the locker room part of the game as well you look forward to practicing you look forward to training in the off-season you look forward to going to battle with guys you learn to trust and that’s why I think a lot of professional athletes have a tough time in the real world where everybody’s full of shit. I think that’s why a lot of pro teams now have bonding sessions and I Think a lot of proteins and even minor-league teams need to do more of that they need more distractions to take the stress off of whatever game you’re playing love love love the podcast guys you’re bringing up so many memories I’ve emailed a bunch of guys just to find out if they’re still alive I’m embarrassed to say I didn’t keep in touch with guys because of how I just walked away from the stress again great great great podcast

Very short career playing D1 in the states maybe and my memory isn’t even clear maybe played 100 junior games over a three year. Too many injuries to count but I remember how fucking stressful it was at practice during games and the constant meetings with fucking people telling you what you’re doing wrong I’m in my 60s now and I’m wondering was I not good enough to play at least juniors or did I just mentally say fuck this and after my last injury say I’m done
