Both conference finals are set and the guys break down their preview of the Western Conference finals. Like the Edm Van Series. Most people gave to much respect to Edmand not enough to Vancouver. I think the flip is true for this series. Too much respect for Dallas and not enough for the Oilers. Most saying Dallas is a much stronger team still think of Edmonton as a one line team.

As a Canucks fan, I agree with Whit and what he says early in this episode. Kinda left me with a sinking heart when it happened. Zero shots in a four minute PPP??? Not acceptable in a mean-nothing game, let alone a playoff game...and a game 7???? Jeebus. But the 'Nucks did me proud this year so not overly salty.

Agreed - 'nucks were completely beaten and done. OIlers were playing with them. I said before series started that the 'nucks/Preds series looked like AHL hockey compared to the other series going on - last two games the Oilers made the 'nucks look like an AHL team - total domination

@@KptKrunch9481 Don’t know how you can think the Preds Nucks series was so garbage, yet the Nucks were able to take Oilers to 7 without their star goaltender. Oilers are way too spotty- so dominant at times, so garbage at others. I don’t think they will fair well against Dallas unless they figure out how to play a full 60.

@@QuesoBueso You are absolutely right about us being spotty - its' frustrating to see the Oilers play so poorly when we know they can play so well, but series go like that. And um, did you watch the series? The Vcr/Nash series set an NHL record for the fewest shots on goal in a series. I remember one game, late into the 2nd period, the shots were like 7 to 7 and the play looked like it. Neither team was forcing the issues. The Kings were playing the same way / style against us yet we found a way to get shots, and score goals. Looked like AHL to me. And yes, 'nucks did not have their star goalie, we were missing Adam Henrique, Ekholm is injured and sick, McDavid is sick, and Kane is playing with a sports hernia. Silvos did not play like a #3, and Vegas won the Cup last year with their FIFTH STRING goalie! St.Louis won the Cup with their 3rd string goalie. Montreal won a Cup with a goalie who, the following year, won the Calder trophy as rookie of the year. What's your point?

Lack of playoff experience. Top Nucks guys mostly have 1 or 2 years in playoffs. I think if they’re able to compete with cup contender teams with minimal experience, imagine what happens when they’re perennial contenders.

My son was suspended for 5 games in U18 for saying pussy. He dumped the puck into the zone and reverse hit a kid trying to hit him from the side and said "sit down pussy". The biggest trap is Dallas thinking that after going through Vegas and Colorado they can take the series off. But I think they have too many vets to let that happen.

I've noticed that too. I think he also owns every jersey but a Stars. I mean you can have your favorite teams, but come on. Throws out an empty stat that because the Stars have a few guys that haven't won a Cup (in their respectively long careers), they're now going to be tired. That doesn't even make sense. At least Whit all but said I'm an Oilers fan, so I'm picking the Oilers. I respect that, we're all fans, even former players, so I'm absolutely cool with them being a fan. Just don't drag nonsensical stats to back up a weak position.

Who asked if the lines mixing up the lines is a bad move because they’re not used to playing with the new lineups? What an “I’ve never played a sport” question - the whole purpose of mixing linemates when the offense is stale is to stop the overthinking and predictably. Shocked Murls picking the team playing against the Stars again. In 3 games this season, McDavid and Draisaitl were pointless in 2 losses. Combined 2 primary assists and 1 secondary assist in the 1 win on an OT 4-3 powerplay.

I think the series is going to be close, and I don’t doubt that Dallas are favoured. I wouldn’t put much stock in regular season results though. The Canucks went 4-0 against the oilers in the regular season and we saw how well that worked out for them.
