I need to catch a splake. Such a pretty fish. Good tips about stained water and fishing it while it's sunny.

Nice! I've got a small, deep lake near me that has some nice splake and brook trout. it's closed to ice fishing so no one catches em and it has a huge smelt population so they grow good! Hoping I can get on em in my kayak in a couple weeks! Ive tried for several years and only caugh some nice bass. I aint givin up got some new tactics to try out.

are you guys planning to make a pronav angler for the motorguide trolling motors too? im trying to get one to put on a kayayk im going to buy soon and switch it back and forth to my other boats. i think its going be a big hit.

Travis White thanks i will be staying tune. oh yeah two more question if you dont mind me asking. why bluetooth? and not wifi connectivity? like how the deeper fishinder does it now. because i want to remotely have the boat or kayak anchor away from the docks or launch area when i go park my vehicle. just like how the minnkota ulterra does it on one of their commercials.

zenas chhoeum Good questions. we chose BT because it was better suited to our application than wifi--there are pros and cons to both. BTLE has up to a 300' effective range. Our competitors are also using Bluetooth now for their wireless communication. Make sure to check your local regulations pertaining to launching and retrieving watercraft. Here in MI you can be ticked for leaving your vessel "unattended" and "unsecured" even using a trolling motor to position it. Just something to be aware of, definitely not worth a ticket!
