It seems your video has helped the gate situation. We are here now and all gates around the pool are open and being used! I will say that we absolutely love this rv resort! It is on the higher end of pricing, but the higher prices are well worth the amazing facilities.

This looks like a fun place. You know I can’t believe how long I’ve been following you we moved here from Raleigh NC in May 2019 and o was following you long before that going back to when you did just fishing videos

Thanks for the honest review! We were considering it for next Spring.. Have yall camped at Putates Cove in Foley? We went for spring break and we booked back for next year. Very kid friendly. We hung out at the pool area every night until 10. They have a big fire place and we built a fire every nite. They supply the wood. Very family and kid friendly. The staff is so friendly.. lots of activities.

Thanks Jack for the video review. Wife and I have been thinking of making this a local destination to try out, but havnt heard of anyone's review yet. I understand the gate issue and I'd have had a tough time of not giving old handlebar a piece of my mind. Specially if I had kids like you and your friends have. We have a 21' Hybrid camper now instead of the pop-up, but we wanna go and try out the covered wagons for a night or 2. Boy LIL Jack is growing up fast. Thanks again!

Great review. We are going to Carolina Pines near Myrtle Beach next month. It is very nice but very pricey. Splash Rv Resort looks like a great alternative. Thanks for taking the time to make such a nice review. Btw , if you need a good fishing guide in Navarre Beach , I know one. We caught lots of fish in the bay last year.

This is a good review and we just stayed there in early August. It is a really nice place as he states. My issues there involve the pool police and many, many rules that are a little extreme to me. No one is allowed to have a drink in the pool UNLESS you are actually drinking it while you are in the pool. If you are not drinking it all of the time they tell you it has to be on the side of the pool on the HOT pavers/concrete. I asked the police what was the reason for this and she stated that it is a Florida statute ( haha ) and that pool water may splash into your drink, again, (haha ). FYI, #6 on the pool rules sign reads " Do not drink the pool water ". No kidding!! If you are in a pool you are probably going to drink some pool water whether you want to or not. Why sell drinks if you don't want them around the pool. Our opinion of this place is that it is a good place for the younger generation with small kids. There wasn't a lot of activities for teens that we saw and we may go back but not too soon.

I drive by the place every day and have thought about going on several occasions. It looks fun, but those cons are pretty bad, particularly the bathroom situation. I think I'd rather go camp somewhere along blackwater or Escambia river

I just got back from staying in a cabin, they have terrible customer service, we didn’t have a working tv all week and honestly for $300.00 it should have been perfect and I agree that the 8 pm shut down was crazy. Also they show a washer and dryer in the cabins but they don’t have one

Great input. They should be open a little later at a vacation place. They could ask for people to not be too loud after 8 p.m., but to close? Yikes! And so many rules, that isn't a relaxed vacation. Part of going to RV places instead of hotels is to feel more home like. They should let people bring drinks and snacks, especially for kids!!! As for the control freak at the gate, people like that need to be away from people and work with things or information. Sheesh! Also, you should be able to bring drinks as long as there is no glass. Again, greater freedom and being able to have your own food/drinks is part of the savings of doing RVing vs a hotel. If places are already expensive and then they don't let you have your own food around a pool, it ends up costing as much or more than the convenience of a hotel.

I hope we can drink a beer on the lazy river

This looks like a great campground, but all those rules would drive me crazy especially camping with young kids.

My biggest issue was being right next to the interstate you had all the interstate noise. For people passing through, its an awesome place. But if you're looking for a quiet weekend getaway this is not the place

I would have not been so nice the the “gatekeeper” guy as were. Lol

The funny thing to me is, they call it an "Emergency exit" but I can literally hop over it. Lmao I wonder if they protest against passing things over it too. However, I don't understand it either. But I have a theory, it's not the gate, it's the guy, he drives around the park patrolling for so long, it gets boring. So not really has to do with "attitude with a badge" per say but he doesn't get to use his security "perks" often as I assume there no real threat or danger made at the park or encountering any misbehavior so this is his way of getting some action out of his job. Wrong way of doing it but I guess.

Nice place but sounds like they ruin it by being too strict. People want to be there to relax and have a good time. Sounds like they’re a bit ridiculous.

I have no problems with any of the negatives you mentioned. It’s a campground not a nightclub.

Never ever ever is it acceptable for staff to raise their voice to a paying customer. Some people take the Paul Blart routine too far.

No coolers at the pool I won't be going.

I always enjoy your videos, but was disappointed to see that case of Busch beer in your truck; I hope you are awere that Anheiser Busch has go "WOKE". If citizens do not vote with their feet when it comes to corporations supporting destructive, immoral values that harm us all, then "WOKE" companies will continue to do so.
