I already completed the dlc and OH MY FUCKING GOOD, Worth every penny

since I'm very hyperfixtated on the splatoon series i couldn't help but give a small detail/rant! most splatoon youtubers seem to only know acht from the trailer of side order when infact they are the DJ from octo expansion (more commonly known as dedf1sh) who produced all the music you heard in game! in haikara walker the Japanese art book for octo expansion they talk a bit more about how Acht and Paul from SashiMori (band in splatoon 2) both have the same logo on their hat and are both DJs and are heavily implied to of known eachother at some point. Acht is also a sanitized octoling who was ordered to only make music for all of their time in the octarian army. this is also talked about briefly in haikara walker iirc. there's also a few fan theories that dedf1sh was sanitized during the calamari inkantation of the splatoon 2 single player mode and that's why they were able to keep so much of their consciousness but this theory is sorta ruled out at the very end of this DLC (which I won't spoiler)

I don't know if anyone else noticed this, and maybe it was just a coincidence but I swear the boss fight at the end was attacking to the music. I love that kind of stuff and for a game like splatoon that's brilliant. I'm pretty sure the previous bosses didn't do that but they might even if I have Just missed it.

This dlc is FUN. Even using weapons I was dreading using was fun, because it lets you build them however you want, to fixing what you think a weapons downsides are to maximising a weapons strengths. I was dreading using the brush, but by the end is was god damn sonic the hedgehog, I could run forever with the brush at 200% speed because I regained enough ink by simply moving that I could literally never run out, and I could get a triple splashdown in seconds just by running in circles.

Having already completed the DLC with all weapon palettes and replaying the final palette with zero 'Rina hacks due to its unique quirk (not saying anything else since it's still Hyperfresh🤣), I almost got to the top this way. Those already in the know understands what I'm talking about. Awesome Roguelite, and if you don't input a single 'Rina hack (I love calling it that), you're playing it Roguelike style instead

Its pronounced Aukt, German for 8, however she has been been in the series for almost 5 years now behind the DJ name "DedF1sh". She is the creator of all the level music in Octo Expansion. in Side Order it says that she was forced into it, but the actual lore books and Nintendo tweet back in 2018, says that she gave up her mind so she didnt have to listen to the people that hated her music.

i just beat side order for the first time and it was awesome! i genuenelly did not expect for them to actually make inkopolis square available after you beat it, i was very surprised. so anyway now that im done with the main story i can finnally watch this
