Splatoon will never match the quality of Splatoon 1 ever again. That game was the peak era - and sadly I don't think that era will be ever topped; I don't see myself playing a future game in the series.

i dont play splatoon but for most games if they start prioritizing kills damage whatever over winning that would not be good for competitive play.

@@JoeJoe-ju3zi It's not just kills, you get gold medals for playing the objective the most, most kills, most assists, etc If you're great, you can get all 3. It's indicative of being a good player. If your just top fragging, your not going to progress through ranked. It's honest to god a good system.

Irony isnt the same thing as sarcasm, and this video is sarcastic irony is something you usually cant do on purpose and its something that someone else notices about you, like for example it would be ironic if dunkey absolutely hated some game but one day would make a game himself just like it

All of the best things in life come in threes. Spider-Man three just happens to be the finest installment in the Spider-Man trilogy. People think he didn't like Xenoblade 3 and was being mean about it, even though all he really did was complain about the admittedly horrible battle dialogue. Besides that there in this video that he finished Xenoblade 2 and is aware of certain late game plot developments of Xenoblade 1.

Even if people “get lucky on the 50/50,” if they play more they will eventually get back down. 50/50s get closer to 50/50 the more you sample them. Plus, if they rank farther than where they should be it won’t be a 50/50 anymore because they are a detriment to their team

It’s really easy to tell 1 and anything but 1 apart because the graphics are different, and then because I play a lot of splatoon I can tell the difference between 2 and 3 but if you’re playing on the same maps and don’t pay attention to the UI they look pretty similar

When i started playing splatoon 3 i was taken aback by the graphics of the octopus. The suckers felt so real. At that moment, it hit me, i was in front of a masterpiece which could never be surpassed. Im so glad to have my xbox so i can enjoy it with my friends.

I like how the 85% of the video is joking but the rest 15% comes from an actual point about the ranking system - which was closer to Halo 3. Simple and effective. Nowadays it's too much even for casual players, so it's cool to see these features implemented in a good way.

They have to make sure players are not incentivized to lose matches so that they can show better performance for individual rank. That's a problem you face with individual vs team goals. A simple example is quitting a match because you think a lost match isn't as bad as losing personal rank.

@@Mirage475 The series is incredibly popular in Japan so sales will definitely be much higher there than anywhere else. But I still have no doubt it's going to be the best selling game in the series, considering that far more people own Switches now than back in 2017 when Splat 2 came out.

@@gaitocalico It's so freaking popular that even my non-gaming wife wanted it, so we imported a Japanese copy to play together. (I know, Switch is region free, but for some reason, you can't play in Japanese with Splatoon unless you buy that region's copy for some reason).

Splatoon is an interesting game. They understood that Nintendo fans had no experience with shooters so made it so that if you missed you opponent, you were still hitting the ground and scoring points.

I can’t tell if this is a joke or not, but splatoon is the ONLY competitive shooter game on console, there’s no aim assist and it require a lot of teamwork, there are frontliner backliner and support, rest of the console shooter just can’t compete splatoon at all.

Splatoon 3 has changed my life. Before playing this game, I had lost both arms and half of my right leg and I only had $3 and a burnt sock to my name. After playing this game, I have grown all of my limbs back and am a multi trillion-air. Videogamedunkey’s review is spot on in my humble opinion, and I believe that this small channel could see some serious growth if he keeps up a trend of reviewing games such as this.
