As a Splatoon Fan....we all are crazy. But my two cents we all fit in different categories of crazy. Some are more tame than others, while others are borderline insane

When it comes to Agent 8 losing their memory (again), I'm not sure if I missed something again because I skipped through the elevator dialogue, but in the beginning of the DLC that it makes sense that Eight didn't immediately remember everything because they 'just woke up' - which made me think that Eight was just disoriented when they woke up and after being reminded by Pearl they were fine. I think they (the dev team) added Pearl's introduction dialogue for players who didn't play Splatoon 2. If they didn't play that game obviously they wouldn't kmow who Marina and Pearl are, or agent 8, but it would be a waste to rehash Octo Expansion's whole story in Side Order just for people who aren't aware of pre-established lore. TLDR; my interpretation of Agent 8's memory loss is that it was just momentary disorientation that gets cleared up by Pearl's explanation.

From what I remember of Acht, they ended up redoing how and why they got sanitized. Originally she CHOSE to become sanitized to focus on her music, I believe Padre is the one who tells us about her. Many people tried to also decipher her songs and think how they’re a representation of her slowing going insane since they get wackier. But in one of the talking scenes (idk if its one u get in a cutscene or not, probs not) she did not get to choose to be sanitized. So ig they got rid of the info we get in 2, which is kinda a let down. I liked the idea of her choosing to go with it than being forced tbh.

Totally off topic, but has anyone noticed the tv inside the new grizzco that is security cameras monitoring splatsville? I’ve gone as close as I can to the angles of each location on the tv, and I’m pretty certain that the cameras are actually in all those apartments, AND the hat shop.

Fun fact the person with hair on parallel is agent 4 with the agent 4 palette cuz it get data from splatoon 2 with only the hair

I didn’t think you’d be covering a video about Splatoon, and it’s lore! Though, there’s quite a HANDFUL of mistakes made here, and there: -Acht’s name is pronounced as “oct,” which mean’s “eight” in Dutch. -Acht’s gender is never mentioned, nor specified in any way throughout the game, nor in any promotional material relating to Acht, meaning that Acht goes by they/them pronouns. (Please be respectful about this for those who wanna reply to this comment.) -The disc pieces you get _doesn’t_ grant you immunity, but rather knocks away every enemy that’s caught in the shockwave from where you collected your final disc piece, and also freeze up the portals to prevent more jelletons from spawning from them for a short period of time. -Marina’s full name is Marina Ida, which is mentioned in the chat rooms of Octo Expansion. Marina Agitando is the name given to her only as a boss fight to fit with the naming scheme of Side Order’s enemies, in which most of them are musical terms, which also relates to Marina’s love for music. (Besides the name of the final boss.) -In the background of the Asynchronous Rondo boss room, those are jelletons being transported throughout the spire, not the Stinger’s pots. Also, the sounds that the Asynchronous Rondo is making is a corrupted version of one of Marina’s songs: Ebb & Flow. -Marina’s tip about the jelletons swarming you is a bit of a misconcepted oversight. The jelletons will swarm you regardless if you’re on the higher, or lower floors of the spire, that is if you leave them alone for a while. They swarm you more often on harder floors; easy floors will have them swarm you in lesser numbers, on hard, and/or rigorous floors, they’ll swarm you in larger numbers, similar to being in a hazard level max shift in Salmon Run. -There’s a mistake that you’ve missed when explaining about the protect the zone tutorial, where you said “multiplier” instead of “multiplayer.” These are pretty much almost all of the mistakes that I could possibly find, and also make me seem like a crazy Splatoon person for how much I’ve analyzed for these.😅 (if there’s more that I’ve missed, let me know!)
