Extreme sinner...but I've come to understand that our God is a merciful and patient God. He will wait for you forever. So in as much as you feel as though you're not good enough or you're so used to failure, rejection or experiencing any health issues just know there's a God who sees, hears and listens to your cries every single night. Be patient He holds you upon His plans and you will gravitate and thrive in His grace. :)

As a designer and stylist, Hillsong United's aesthetics challenges me every time and I have to constantly remind me that I cant associate Christianity with a certain font, style of visual. As much as we may sing to Him today a new song, new visuals are not wrong as well.

Verse 2 is so beautifully written!!! Honestly my favorite lyric. It is taken from John 8 and puts me in the persective of that woman, who by law should've been stoned to death, but Jesus' grace and love is much greater than anything my accusers can say against me. In the darkest time of my life, after coming back to the light of God and the hope of Jesus, I found Hillsong. Out of all of their songs, this is the most underrated, under-appreciated song of them all. I NEVER hear it on klove, nor any other radio station. EVER. This song, its depth, meaning and passion, changed me in ways no one I know understands. The emotion, and quite often tears I shed when I hear it... This ONE song, more than any of the thousands of praise and worship songs out there, has filled my soul with immense joy and has saved me. That dark time is far behind me now, and I am blessed. Scott what a beautiful realization. He sees you. He remembers what the Locusts have eaten. He is near to the broken heart-ed and down trodden. He even stores your tears in a bottle. You know He chose you first. He has a Destiny for you... all you have to do is have Faith and then the tough part at times; demonstrate that faith. One baby step towards El Shadai is reward with 10X the blessings for your effort. It's your heart He wants... You know after Nehemiah built - restored the wall around Jerusalem (against all odds but God came through again and again -doors opened where there appeared none - because He ALWAYS delivers on His promises/covenants) - anyway the exiled Hebrews - His People - returned home and they found the book of the law. When Ezra read from it, the Hebrews began to weep because they were so deeply moved by God's love - His word and beautiful, perfect, ethical, clean law PLUS hearing once again the entire story/encounter of Moses and Aaron while Elohim used them as humble servants to exhibit here on earth (pre Christ) His greatest physical demonstration of Love, Compassion & Faithfulness with a Mighty hand & magnificent Glory, He delivered all of Israel from the bondage from Egypt - Anyway - After hearing the book of the Law, the new returning remnant realized also how deep their sin had become & how removed they were from God. hello marie elena scott harvey here replying to what you wrote to me thankyou so much for all that you said god bless you i went back to church for 2 reasons 1 to know god again and 2 because i lost my mum to throat cancer and secondry lung cancer in 2002 and six months after my mum died my grandmother died from a massive stroke.at age 88 to loose two of the most important people in my life devastated me i was angry at god for taking them from me as i was very close to my mum and grandmother...but i found my way back to god and the church, its going to church on sundays that makes me feel closer to my mum and my grandmother..even if only in spirit thankyou again for your message marie it ment alot to me GOD bless you so much for that i wish we could keep in touch via email if you would like too this is my email addy ...scottharvey436@gmail.com thankyou again marie god bless you scott harvey.....

Masterpiece. Some worship is to lift each other up as we lift worship to the Father. We sing together to feel the commonality we have as brothers and sisters in Christ. I know people have had problems with the lyrics and the melody to this tune. I think its brilliant. It gives glory to the Father and the Son what else is there? The lyrics of this song... Wow. I know that there are a lot of good Christian bands out there, but lyrically, the depth and meaning and most importantly the worship that Hillsong continues to inspire remains the gold standard for me. As a learning guitarist, I hope that one day I can create melodies and lyrics that glorify our most worthy Lord the way these guys do. Let hope rise indeed.
