Danger Sense only activates when something is actually dangerous to Midoriya. Toga's been saying for a while that she wants to talk to Midoriya, no reason for Danger Sense to trigger. Midoriya ran past Toga's portal, preparing a punch to Shigaraki's cage, Toga caught that arm and yanked him in.

@chigozienwankwo9367 That doesn't matter, he was actively using OFA which gives him SUPER HUMAN STRENGTH, how did Toga manage to overpower that in order to pull him in........ it's just poor writing.

@@samoryedwards281 ??? OFA does not make him heavier or something,the movement was pretty clear that he was starting to charge and got stopped it would not have worked during a punch also everything happened for a split second the time he realized he was already half in the portal

@@alchemike6346 No No...... that does not make sense. OFA is surging through his body, his legs and core and arms have super strength. Speed and force plus mass would exponentially increase how hard it would be to pull him away. Not to mention all he had to do was pull his arm.... that OFA was already surging through and she should have been pulled towards him instead. If he could have reacted to overhaul's spikes coming out of the ground in an instant without danger sense just off pure reaction speed given through using OFA, there's no way Toga stood a chance there. The writing of his abilities is inconsistent.

Overall, the heroes’s plan wasn’t a bad one honestly. It’s definitely better than their first one during the original war. It’s almost perfect here. Almost.

I just wanna say even though deku mastered 45+% of OFA, it doesn't mean his full cowl is always at that, or else him moving at that speed would be making tornados with every move, so his base full cowl is always at a lower level, only when he kicks or punches he switches to 45% or more Also Toga is not really a normal human, she's superhuman kinda like Stain is. For toga we have seen crazy features that normal people wouldn't do, like jumping off Gigantomachia's back while he was running through cities, she also has great speed which she showed during My Villain Academia, to tap many people to make them float and drop them to their deaths, and after twices death she disguised as a hero and speed blitzed some heroes and sliced their necks in the process, she also broke through a ceiling with her body to do a sneak attack on Uraraka, she has always had crazy strength snd athleticism, and she also "hid her presence" to catch deku off guard when she disguised as Camie, she's a stalker. So on top of her feelings getting past danger sense, if someone can catch deku off guard, and yank him off the ground like that its her

Yeah, the animated version of deku getting snatched does look questionable lol. At least in the manga, the portal appears on his side and its a lot closer to him initally. Plus, in the manga, he gets caught mid air and doesnt react until toga pulls him through. Anime has deku reliving all 6 seasons before getting snatched up 😂

In the manga deku didn't have full cowl activated as Toga was pulling him. So it's believable she could pull him in his unpowered state. But the anime fuc*ed it and had full cowl on the whole time.

The anime has established that Dekus movements during full cowling vary in acceleration and power..just watch a scene of him moving normally while its activated It’s entirely plausible that she pulled him back before he had enough momentum built up

That doesn't mean that you have to constantly be going as fast as he can go at that percentage, but at this point in the series we know he's consistently using 30+ percent of ofa through his entire body. No matter how much he was holding back Toga should NOT be able to overpower him in full cowl even if caught off guard.

@@reflect5161 the kinetic chain of a punch ends near your wrist…it’s entirely plausible that she was early enough to avoid OFAs full power by fractions of a second and put out enough force to jerk him back just a bit, and after that, Dekus surprise/hesitation gave her all that she needed to quickly pull him through He literally stops his motion as she pulls him away

@@dariengarcia6439 please stop trying to apply logic to this. In the manga it's made very clear he didn't have ofa going. Bones just didn't pay attention and had it going the whole time. They didn't apply logic to try to explain why she could pull him. The only reason she could is cause he wasn't supposed to have ofa on at the moment.

@17:30 they did specify how long they were in that box though. "3 seconds is all you are gonna gain from this. What good is that?" And during those 3 seconds they began pushing them into the portals and they began busting out. Sooooo it's not head cannon to say that it was a split second. As for the reason behind his danger sense not going off. Well.....as you stated, it's gonna be explained

20:02 so by the beginning of the warping it’s established that Toga reacts the quickest to the cages and tells the villains around her to „hurry!“. We then get a quick shot of her seeing Deku from the corner of her eye when the gate appears pulling her in. So she immediately jumped into action. In season three, four and five we also have established that out of the villains toga had the best agility, reflexes and reaction stats. So she basically reacted immediately to a gate already pulling her in, caught Deku off guard, due to her attack not triggering danger sense, and did the warpgate do the rest. It all happened like in a few split seconds, cause Deku couldn’t even full think the sentence „what the-„. Do not underestimate Toga, she had been a serial killer, being able to survive in the underground for years before joining the lov and her actions, mental state and quirk are all extremely unpredictable.

Even though he is sooo annoying, monoma was actually popping off, like he gained a LOT of cool points but also lost some for opening his mouth lol. It was dope seeing everyone doing what they do. Also i want to point something interesting out about shigaraki, when the fight started he didn't used his decay quirk cause of friendly fire, but when he gotten separated and was by himself he had instantly used it. 27:05 honestly i agree, jeanest really told him EVERYTHING, like stfu bruh.

Deku didn’t noticed it bc toga didn’t have any harmful attentions towards deku so his danger sense didn’t activate. He’s fast but he can’t react fast lol. It’s 2 different things. Also he didn’t explain much to shiggy bro was completely in blue the whole time he was getting smacked around he didn’t hear shit he just told him his quirk won’t work here basically

Toga really pulled deku with the pinky promise finger 😭 and they prob can still see through to the portal and i also understand why danger sense didn't activate and even if they didn't explain how those things that jeanist using shigaraki would still prob knew it by seeing the floor and shi but yes its def questionable how toga pulled deku so zesty like that 😂

I went and rewatched the scene and everything added up with Togas ability to pull him through the portal He was striking the cage with a slow wind up, before he was moving with enough momentum for OFA to over power her resistance. Weve seen before that the force and acceleration of Dekus movements while OFA is active vary greatly. Yes, Deku could have and should have easily stopped moving after that initial jerk, but he froze up out of confusion due to danger sense not going off while something was pullin him away

Why are we just accepting that Toga was able to pull Deku while he was ACTIVELY USING OFA to push/ punch the barrier through the portal. He would have had superhuman strength at that point, and she just pulled him like he was a normal person...... this is the same person that it took all of class A to capture and he was holding back ...... this is the same person that one shot muscular...... it really does not make sense. It was just poorly written.

Toga is kind of a superhuman though, she literally jumped off Gigantomachia's back while he was running through the city, also when she transformed into the Granny to lure Uraraka she ran faster than a normal human would, she's extremely athletic and agile too and we have seen it during MVA and the first war, also she's good at "hiding" her presence, she did that to deku during the license exam when she was disguised as Camie, on top of her feelings staying off danger sense's radar, so if there's one person who can catch deku off guard like that and yank him off the ground it's her. Also important to remember, deku's not always at 45% cause him moving at that speed would make tornados, so his base full cowl is always lower
