Why is nobody talking about how heartbroken Jason must have felt seeing that Bruce replaced him with Tim. He literally was only keeping it together because he thought Batman (essentially his Father) was coming to save him.

To be fair to Bruce, for one thing Joker was very convincing in "killing" Jason and even before that Bruce had no reason to believe Joker wouldn't have killed Jason once enough time had passed. Plus, as shown in this video it clearly haunted him because apparently Bruce used to call Tim Jason by mistake.

it's funny how batman never thinks about other options with joker. he could get him in a drug-induced coma, he could get him in a totally vegetable state, he could get him ACTUALLY TREATED BY COMPETENT DOCTORS. Batman doesn't want to save him. neither kills him. he enjoys joker being around becouse without him, he would have no purpose

What’s even more sad is that when the Joker was about to brand the J on Jason, Jason backed into the dark cause he felt safe in the dark, since Batman had raised him like his son. Not sure is this is a coincidence or not, but I feel like he wasn’t just trying to get away from the Joker but also cause he still hoped that Batman would save him 😢

People see the effects of Batman placing his morals above the greater good of the people he’s supposed to be protecting and they still defend his methods. No matter how many innocent lives have to be sacrificed to try and save the Joker from himself. No matter how many times he proves that he doesn’t want to be saved; that he only desires to cause indiscriminate suffering for as many people as possible. The definition of insanity is repeating an action with a proven result but expecting the result to change. Batman’s mishandling of the Joker is the dictionary definition of insanity, therefore it’s completely unfair that so many people have to suffer just because Batman is an insane & traumatized child pretending that the way to protect the world is by adhering to the naive desires of his childhood self. Not even the year-long torture and murder of his adopted son was enough to stop him from repeating the never ending cycle. Lock him up - he breaks out - people die. Even in cartoons Batman hardly ever arrives in time to ensure no one is harmed by the Joker. His mission isn’t to protect Gotham or the World. His mission is to save his parents. And he thinks that he can do that by refusing to let anyone die. Batman is stuck in a mental paradox. How do you protect the innocent AND the murderer at the same time?

Batman knows the reality. He knows that he could have prevented a lot of things, but he knows his insanity as well. He knows that if he starts to kill on guy then he won't be able to stop himself. Going so deep that he would kill any one of them until his unstable side is just getting completely out of control. Just look at batman who laughs

He KNOWS the Joker is going to break out and kill again because of that corrupt system. And what does he do? Keep blaming it on the government just like you. If he TAKES the responsibility to protect then you can’t just say “that’s not his job”. He purposefully made it his job. Everyone always wants to make excuses for superheroes being idiots who are okay with letting people down as long as their Halo stays intact. Fuckin sad. Naive morals are not more important than human lives.

It’s his code. In the injustice timeline, joker hurt Superman which further put the entire world in danger. Killing joker challenges the moral compass in a very weird way. On one hand, Batman has a noble code of not killing. On the other hand, so much damage could have been avoided had joker been given a death sentence.

@yo-2029 Fuck his code, man. Graveyards are filled, cremated ashes scattered, families broken. Hell, there's several occasions that Batman could've pulled a bystander effect and just let something happen, rather than beating him to death. He says every Robin is important to him, but left Todd for months and replaced him in 6 months. The only Robin he *really* cares for is Dick, and it shows that he's the golden child.

The government is bailing them out to use them on Task force X or the suicide squad. Amanda Waller is one of the most villainous characters in DC and she never actually got humbled.

Jason wasn't the one he was trying to torture and brainwash into becoming a mini Joker. I would assume that Tim was allowed to tell him because Joker chose him to become part of his 'family'. Jason was at least spared from that nightmarish fate, albeit given a tragic one of death instead..

I don't really think. This far into the game, the player has almost forgotten about Arkham Knight and was really invested in the Joker infected stuff. The buildup, for a first timer, was about how cruel Joker was and what happened to Jason. You only notice it's about Knight when you've already beaten the game.

If only Batman would've been a real man for once then Barbara wouldn't have had to lose her legs, both jason and commissioner gordon wouldn't have had to go through such monstrous torture, batman doesn't kill joker in fear of not turning himself into another joker but this selfish wish of his cost thousands of life every year, changed jason from a happy boy who loved working with batman to a deppressed adult who hates bruce, the torture jim gordon went through, i wouldn't even consider it on my worst enemy, barbara lost her legs and her dignity... In a way batman is way worse version of joker, atleast joker admits that he is a psycho and kills anyone who stands in his way but bruce is as psycho as joker but he won't admit it. He just magically wants to bring his parents back, make gotham like a way where heroes and villains live in harmony like some fuckin utopia and for that he lets anyone in his way die indirectly through joker, let it be civilians or his bat family
