When this song came out, literally was knee deep on that real grind swanging a beat to hell big body Delta 88…45 and Tidwell, 59 and Fondren, Harwin and all points leading to Alief, Wilcrest and Briar Forest…where ever I could stay on that grind successfully and make it to the next day. And for those days I felt like giving up, where you question why it gotta be like this and why was I dealt such shitty cards to play, I listened to this song from a burnt cd, playing from a portable CD player, using that auxiliary chord to cassette connector, so you could play cd’s in your car from your portable CD player through your car’s cassette player. I never gave up, survived, and won, leaving the grind once and for all. But never forgetting those days, so I always stay humble and grateful for beating the odds.
